If we want this lad he's coming, be it now or in July. Havre can't stop that, they can only slow us down. I'd like to think Walsh has faith he'd do a job if we go up.

Le joueur, qui se trouve en Angleterre, où il devait s'engager pour trois ans et demi avec Leicester, n'a rien signé avec l'actuel leader de Championship et va rentrer en France. Leicester et le Havre n'ont pas réussi à trouver d'accord pour le transfert du milieu offensif de 22 ans. Le HAC devrait donc tirer un trait sur les 500 000 euros qu'il pouvait espérer récupérer dans la transaction puisque Mahrez, qui sera libre en juin prochain, peut signer un pré-contrat là où il le souhaite. Le Havre will not get the 500'000 Euro from the transfer if it had gone through before the end of the January transfer window. Nothing spectacularly new, really.
