Guest shearfox Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 The deal is dead! Our squirrel wasn't up to scratch and didn't suit him, he requested we swap. Then Pearson headbutted him and told him to F off! I would have done the same... In Pearson we trust...
dmayne7 Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 I heard that his agent wants more pages than the Maynard thread or he's not signing!! Nobody harbours ambitions as unrealistic as that!
kingfox Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 What the hell is wrong with some people. If we don't get him now, get him in the summer, even if we get promoted? Frankly I couldn't give a shit if he becomes a free agent then, would rather buy some known quality for a few million. People will forget about him in a couple of months if he doesn't sign in this window. Shame as a he looked a real prospect. And how do you know this? Youtube? His bbm code is on his twitter, if anyone actually has it, just bbm him!? Ha. Some sad idiot, would probably do that. I wonder how many had even heard of him before this thread? 0, maybe FIF as he lives in France(well his profile says he does)
sylofox Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 They are probably still pissed we did not ask permission. When we sent a few boats over for D-Day lol
Jobyfox Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 I want him to sign simply because I think we need an extra winger. I also trust Pearson/Walsh to get it right .... ..... ....... ....... But he could be shite!
Bryn Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 Please can we have negs? I really need to neg Kingfox into oblivion.
Bryn Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 Sparkling wit. He's just an absolute cock relentlessly, he deserves no better.
LCFC FOX Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 I've heard he's waiting for Dan LCFC to win a bet before he signs we'll be waiting a while then
kingfox Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 He's just an absolute cock relentlessly, he deserves no better. For showing realism. How anybody can say this signing will be good, and he's a good prospect, is an absolute joke. Just a shame some people don't realise this. You can call me a cock if you like, but at the end of the day, I'm talking sense. And finally some people are starting to realise this.

From what I've heard he is a very ambitious player who has thrived this season for Le Harve and Steve Walsh/Nigel are impressed enough to bring him into the squad that is currently top of the league and hardly lacking in quality. Fans have every right to be optimistic because Nigel and his team have a very good track record in bringing players into our club.

Just lighten up a bit thats all... If he signs we should all get behind him because that's what good fans do with new arrivals. Whether he is good or not Pearson thinks he's worth bringing in so I'm sure he'll add something to the team. Nigel never brings in players as filler.

From what you've heard, this exactly proves my point, you've heard, you haven't seen. Yes they have a good track record, I'm not questioning that, and I'm not saying if this lad does end up signing he is going to be shit. I just don't see the point in getting excited over a player we don't even know anything of, only things we've heard from reports and youtube vids, which is absolutely shit use of a source. He could be good, he could be just as good as Knockaert if not better, or he could become unsettled and look out of his depth.

Kitchandro Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 I'm also with Kingfox. He might have been a prospect, but tbh I don't think he looked a really obvious gem. I mean he is playing in the French 2nd division at 22. Do people want him because they think he'll be like Knockaert? Because we don't need another Tony K. He's one of those players who you don't want many of in your squad, but having one is great. Another winger would be nice, but I can't say I have been jizzing over the idea of this bloke. I'm sort of meh about it.

People were saying the same thing about Gabriel Obertan for instance when he signed for Manchester United, people were saying he could replace Cristiano Ronaldo, and look how he turned out.

The reason people are optimistic about this signing is not because they themselves know everything about the dregs of European football, but because they trust our scouting and management squad to deliver as they so often have; and if they are making serious moves to sign some unknown quantity from France then as far as I am concerned he is going to be worth it. Especially as they are looking to bring this guy in at what could potentially be one of the most crucial transfer windows in our recent history, and as things stand he is our primary target.
Collymore Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 Retweet Mahrez will be the greatest player for Leicester since Alan Rogers, you'll see.

Fair enough mate. But yes I can come across as negative, but there's two sides to every story. You have to weigh up both ways, you are saying that our scouting system is good and you trust them on this potential signing, I haven't said I haven't trusted them. But then again, despite having a good track record, Mahrez could end up being average, then more than likely the people who are saying this guy is a good prospect, and think he will instantly be good, will then start moaning about him. Yes that may look negative, but it's perfectly true.

Yes you are right but so is KF. Kf has not slagged him down or said he is shite all he is saying is some people need to calm down. He's 22 and coming to a strange country he may not be able to handle it. Look how many people thought Bamba was world class after his debut then after 20 games slagged him off. Not saying you do or are Una but some are treating this like FM or Fifa whatever. Making up song before we even have him is a joke.
