riyad mahrez - Who knows....

Sounds like bullshit journalism. It's been a yoyo of a transfer according to the media, on. Off. Agreed. Disagreed. Didn't like the local hero. Loved the pukka pies...

Where as in truth it's more than likely been a straight forward sale just sorting out the finer details...

Bit like the KP situation... Taking longer than expected so the media start drumming up stories to make it juicy...

I'd be surprised if this didn't happen. I reckon it'll be sorted in the next 48 hours, sounds like a bit of lazy journalism to me, he's said goodbye to his teammates ffs.

Not really quite as dramatic as you're trying to make it sound like.

The player was scouted by the club, the player and Leicester have found an agreement, now it's Le Havre who are blocking the deal. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Le Havre are just trying to get as much money as possible, this will be sorted.

Although it had to engage with Leicester for a duration of three years and a half, the midfielder of the Havre Ryad Mahrez has still not signed contract with the leader of Championship club. According to our information, the situation is blocked because of a financial disagreement between the two clubs. As a reminder, the 22-year-old player was also courted by Torino, in series A. N.D.

Le Harve should take what we have offered now. By the sounds of it personal terms will not be an issue and bar a small fee issue this is a done deal. Le Harve risk loosing him for nout in the summer as he's clearly signalled his intent to leave. Classic take the money case,

He was stood on the pitch today. If we'd not agreed a fee surely he'd not have been allowed to talk with us.

so what do you reckon then Bert. Done deal? Any others in the pipeline that you are aware of? cheers :)

How can he be talking to us if we haven't agreed a fee? Surely that's an illegal approach if so?

I would be very surprised if it wasn't confirmed in the next day or so.

I work at the Marriott opposite the ground, as I went in for a piss in room 101 earlier there was a poker table set up.

Sat around the table were the following:

Nigel Pearson

Top

Tony Robinson

Some lad with a stubble beard with peroxide bleached hair tips.

Anyways, I finished my piss and asked the boys if they wanted the light on. A unanimous 'no' rang through the room so I duly obliged. We're used to this sort of stuff at work, what with the likes of Nigel Adkins checking in and out within the space of 10 minutes, and Craig Mackail-Smith getting handcuffed to the bed posts by that Nancy- Sven's ex bird.

Whilst I was checking in an elderly man who confirmed his address was 'Arrrrgh', whom smelt strangely like a cess pit, a phone call came through on the room service line.

Room 101.

What could they possibly need?

Pen and paper was the reply, so again, duly obliged.

Just as I got to the room a gentleman wearing a 'French FA' t-shirt comes bundling out of the lift screaming some French at me, the only word I can translate is 'Mahrez'. He bursts through the door, nabs the lad (freshly dealt hand still in tact) and drags him down to an awaiting car.

Think the deals off lads :/

"Though he was supposed to sign a 3 and a half year deal with Leicester, Le Havre's attacking midfielder Ryad Mahrez still hasn't signed with the Championship leaders.  According to our information, the deal's being held up by a financial disagreement between the two clubs. As an aside, the 22 year old player is also being looked at by Serie A side Torino." (So nothing new ;) )
