NathanBlueFox Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 can someone tell me as didn't attend today.
DennisNedry Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Kasper - 7 - Only really had one save to make but made it well. Konch - 6 - Solid but wasteful in possession. Morgan - 8 - Beast Moore - 8 - Ditto De Laet - 7.5 - Getting back to pre-injury levels. Dyer - 6.5 - Ran a lot, final cross or shot was usually poor. Drinkwater - 8 - Another top game. Worldie pass for Vardy who should have scored. James - 8 - Forming good partnership with Danny. Does the nitty gritty well. Knockaert - 7 - Good first half, won a penalty. Second half looked tired and wasteful on the ball. Nugent - 5.5 - Wasted chance after chance. Vardy - 6 - Same as Nugent, with higher work rate.

nlukka Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Kasper 7 - no real save to make apart from one free-kick he had to tip over RDL 7 - got forward well, assured defensively Moore 7.5 - won plenty of headers and attacked the ball well Morgan 7.5 - same as Moore Konchesky 7 - good defensively, didn't get forward as much Knocky 7 - won the penalty, looked threatening. Tried to do a little too much sometimes Drinky 8 - some lovely passes, controlled the midfield James 7.5 - lots of work off the ball, won the ball back fairly often Dyer 7 - good pace, should have taken their full-back on more after he got booked Nugent 7 - worked hard for the team Vardy 6.5 - not quite as good as recently but still put a shift in Subs all did well, thought Waggy looked good.
MGLCFC Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Thought Waggy looked absolute garbage. Great team performance, thought Nuge and Vardy worked their socks off. Still feel we need one additional striker - Adam Le Fondre would be a decent addition.
kingfox Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Schmeichel 7 - Some key saves, and decent kicks De Laet 6 - Mediocre performance for me Morgan 7 - Did well enough Moore 7 - Found it a bit tricky early on, but improved in second half Konchesky 6 - Same as De Laet for me, ok nothing more Knockaert 7 - Brilliant first half, poor second half, gave too many passes away James 8 - Can't recall him losing the ball first half, great display Drinkwater 8 - Outstanding first half, some great passes, comfortable second half Dyer 7 - Dangerous here and there, but didn't really do enough Nugent 6 - Only scores penalties Vardy 6 - Work rate decent enough, but chances wise he should of bagged
AKCJ Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Schmeichel - 7 - Save of the season but had nothing else to do. De Laet - 7 - Heading back to his best. Moore - 9 - We've got a serious talent here. Morgan - 8 - Plays much better with Moore. They compliment each other. Konch - 6 - Wasteful but was solid. Knocky - 7 - Got the softest penalty in years and had a good first half. Faded as the game went on. James - 9 - MOTM. Beastly performance, just kept on winning the ball back. Drinkwater - 8 - Another great game. Does the pretty stuff while James does the dirty. Work well together. Dyer - 6 - Wasteful. not his best game but still scored problems. Nugent - 4 - ****ing awful. Vardy - 7 - Should have scored but at least he tried. Waghorn - 5 - Didn't do much. GTF - 4 - Ditto. Hammond - 6 - Helped see the game out.
MGLCFC Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Thought Nugent was decent - ok his shooting was poor, but he links up so well with Midfield a puts penalties away with confidence. thought his energy levels were good.

Would love to see that save again, hopefully on highlights somewhere, sit in c block so difficult to see, but possibly his best save ever for us, anybody sit nearer who can confirm it was outstanding?
Daz93 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Kasper 8 - Fantastic save and good distribution. Was also more commanding today. De Laet 7 - Good both in defence and going forward, much better having him playing at right back. Morgan 8 - Solid, much better the last two games. Moore 8 - Solid as well, frustrated Pogrebnyak second half. Konchesky 7 - A few silly fouls but generally defended well. Knockaert 6 - Good first half but no end product today. James 8 - Mopped everything up and kept things simple, great game. Drinkwater 8 - Some fantastic balls he played around today, looks confident. Dyer 7 - Had a couple of chances and troubled Gunter throughout. Nugent 6 - Worked hard and put ANOTHER penalty away. Won quite a few headers ala QPR today as well. Vardy 6 - Had a golden chance one on one but took a poor touch, still put pressure on the defence with his work-rate. Waggy 4 - Meh. GTF 4 - ^ Hammond 6 - Assured.
Bert Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Kasper 7 - One standout save but otherwise little to do. Kicking good again. RDL 7 - Played his part in the clean sheet, looked back to his best going forward too. Konch 7 - Another solid display. Morgan 8 - Getting back to his best and put in a second consecutive strong performance. Moore 8 - Up against a very good, experienced international and held his own. This is easily our best back four. Knocky 7 - Class in the first half. Drifted out of it second. Seemed desperate to score. Dyer 6 - Another game where everything up to the end product was class. More good chances wasted by Lloyd but his overall play was generally good. James 8 - Gave Drinky plenty of freedom. Got stuck in, picked up the loose balls and got forward when he could. Drinkwater 8 - Very close but he was out top man today. He dictates our play and when he does we are good. Vardy 7 - His poor first touch continues to let him down, but we got everything from him that we've come to expect, took some big knocks. Nugent 7 - Scored again, had his best game for a while. Linked the midfield and attack well and countered well. Waghorn 6 - Huff and puffed. Probably still doing so now. Hammond 6 - Helped keep things tight at the end of the game. GTF NA.
Dickov22 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Kasper 8 One really good save and he commanded his area really well De Laet 7.5 Back to his normal self- good going forward, solid defensively Moore 8.5 Up against a very good striker and was excellent. So brave Morgan 7.5 Standard Wes. Solid Konchesky 7 Solid Knockaert 8.5 Reading were terrified of him. His close control and skill is quite unbelievable at times. No one else in the league like him Drinkwater 8 Some lovely ball distribution and a few 'Neil Lennon' moments aka getting his body in between his man and the ball. Strong. James 8 Ball seemed to drop to him so often- he was really key to breaking up Reading's play Dyer 6.5 Pace and effort in abundance as per usual. End product lacking but I love him Nugent 7 Best game in quite a while. Battled, won headers, good pen, better attitude Vardy 7 Not quite up to his usual standard but still good. Comes off the pitch having been in a war literally every game.
Langston Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Anyone else think the competition for places at the back is now helping us see the best from Moore? I know certain people criticised Pearson for dropping him but he's been a different animal the last two games.
Sampson Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Nugent was better than Vardy today. Don't understand the 4/10s for Nugent and the 7/10s for Vardy.

The Horse's Mouth Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Waggy was a 10. Most people were average today, though Vardy was the best of the bunch though

Agree with you again Bertio, apart from I gave James MOTM just. Love Drinky at the moment though, he did one turn in the first half where he sold two Reading players a dummy that left them both scratching their heads!! #quality.

I'm not a Waghorn fan but some of the criticism he's getting is mental. He wasn't great but I think he did a pretty decent job. Certainly a marked improvement on Schlupp's efforts on Saturday.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 I find it so difficult to take these threads seriously. You can have in one post someone giving Nugent a 4 and directly below an 8, someone saying Waghorn was awful, someone saying he was strong. I understand that a review is an opinion and that is what these ratings are but how can they seriously be so different> Are people watching different games? Still, I like reading them. haha
Jobyfox Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 People saying Nugent was poor must have been at a different game to me. He had a decent game. Nothing much worked for Vardy. Generally I thought that we were the better side, but the game was characterised by an appaling lack of quality in the final 3rd. The 2 strikers and 2 wingers linked up well with the midfield and were useful outlets throughout, but the finishing and decision making was head in the hands stuff!

Sooner or later that front four are going to start making sensible decisions and we're going to give somebody an absolute dicking.
Dickov22 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Nugent was better than Vardy today. Don't understand the 4/10s for Nugent and the 7/10s for Vardy. Because some people don't know what they're on about
Dickov22 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Agree with this. I'm not a Waghorn fan but some of the criticism he's getting is mental. He wasn't great but I think he did a pretty decent job. Certainly a marked improvement on Schlupp's efforts on Saturday. Waghorn was dreadful -he passed the ball straight out for a throw in , lost it every time he had it, still doesn't jump for headers. I was baffled to see him come on. Never really see the point in rating subs though, unless they come on for a while. It's difficult to do much in 10-15 mins, but Waghorn is not good enough. Never will be
Dickov22 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Pretty sure Vardy thought he was offside during that one on one potential chance he had in the second half. Probably excuses his awful first touch (just about). Him and Nugent both played well I thought.
jmono84 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Thought James and Drinky were awesome!! Drinky is startin to ooze class... He will get man of match vote for me again this week!
