little Brian Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 The Daily Fail says today that Moore is angered by the Club's handling of Fulham's approaches, I hate to admit it , I believe this....! Liam Moore , needs to be patient , remember who pays his wages & he will be rewarded in good time ! I reckon his agent is stirring it up a bit , his stock value will only increase To say what if he snaps his leg is silly talk ........ lets not forget how Leicester leg-ends Stearman & Mattock went on to do absolutely f**** all

More than they would of got if they had stayed here and then gone shit.

Thracian Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 Thracian, is that you? Haha, no chance. And for the record I've no particular problem with Pearson's team selections involving James, King or anyone else. Times have changed in that we've genuine competition for places now among differently talented players. Furthermore with a small squad it's quite likely that individuals might become a bit jaded or lose their sharpness leaving others to get a share of the limelight. In fact where King is concerned he's often seemed to need a break mid-season. The guy takes a lot of responsibility and covers a lot of ground in varying situations and sometimes seems to combat the strain by becoming more robotic and functional rather than being creative or threatening. King remains a good player among a squad of good players and that's why we're making progress. Yes, in the past I've claimed our young players were better than some of the seniors we had available and believe I was mostly vindicated in that view. But, we've moved along way forward from that stage now - as indicated by the problems Schlupp's having in breaking through. I think Schlupp has ability and potential but have never argued that he's better than Dyer or Konchesky in their respective positions. Yes, it's a pity for the lad himself that he's not had the chance to settle into a position by playing more than bit parts but Pearson's first responsibility is to the club and to the task of winning promotion not to the needs of any individual. So, while he's here, Schlupp's just got to learn, work hard, hope for a break and then take his chance - if it comes and if he's good enough. And really, the same goes for everyone else. There's no room now for anyone to get complacent because there's a capable replacement for most anyone who lets their standard slip and that's how it needs to be if we're going to win things.

LCCFox96 Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 I honestly can't see him going. At least with it being Friday night and the weekend filled with fixtures it unlikely any business will be done before Monday. A few more days of this window whittled away. We need to keep Moore after how influential he has been in our defence.
Bettsj2 Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 He wont be in the team tomorrow as his head has been turned.
Guest Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 He wont be in the team tomorrow as his head has been turned. Alright seenitall, calm yourself down.

MGLCFC Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 He wont be in the team tomorrow as his head has been turned. I actually think this might be a good shout, but it wouldn't mean he's leaving if he's not playing, just Pearson leaving it a week until the transfer window is over and Moore realises that his future for now is with Leicester. I'm not suggesting Moore has any desire to leave, but at 20 to be linked with a big money move and a vast increase in salary can get your mind wondering.

No fault of the lad but a good contract and a move to a Prem team in London. He's bound to be distracted. Rather stick Wasilewski or Miguel in just in case. Pearson doesn't tend to **** around in these situations.
Deucalion Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 I would hate to live in London. Why would anyone want to move there?

foxes_rule1978 Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 Is it true that he came off early because the bus to Fulham left St.Margarets at 3:30? That is fact I'm #itk
Bettsj2 Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 Another man clearly ITK I never said it was ITK info?? It was just a thought following how the Konchesky situation was handled earlier in the season. Should have made that a little clearer but whatever, i'm glad it wasnt the case.
