Liam Moore subject to a bid from Fulham.

Sure I just saw the Mercury board outside a paper shop saying £2.5m bid rejected.... If that's right.... Yeah that extra 500k will make us change our mind Fulham.

Which league they're in next season is almost irrelevant. Say he's on 2k or 3k a week at LCFC and Fulham offer him 15k a week to go there - no matter how much he loves Leicester he's going to consider that. This is where the contracts game the club are playing can backfire.

I really don't want to see him leave but money talks and it's a short career. Also, they are shit but as of right now they're a prem side and we're a champ side.

thats a good point but is 15k a week likely?

The turning point in this will be with Liam Moore himself.

I am sure the club will say no to Fulham, but if Moore puts in a transfer request it's game over.

I hope he is as committed to our club as my gut feeling tells me, because we are a much weaker defence without him in it.

To me, all of this is irrelevant.

Liam Moore has a contract with the club. If Leicester aren't willing to sell, regardless of value, then Liam Moore can't demand to leave and expect it to happen.

Liverpool got it right with Suarez.  They refused to let him leave.  Yes they improved his terms, but ultimately, the club are in control regardless of how much posturing takes place.

If I started publishing absolute lies about people, would I not get done? How do these papers continue to get away with it time and time again? I've never understood it.

I honestly have zero concerns about Moore leaving. Absolutely certain he'll still be here in February.

I can tell you now that this is ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS! A friend of mine who knows him well spoke to him on Saturday, this subject arose and Liam said he has absolutely no interest in leaving during this transfer window, he's going nowhere.

Either way, Pearson is going to be VERY p*ssed off with this. It's either come from his agent or Fulham themselves trying to stir the pot. I hope Liam does them for libel and we take Fulham to court for unsettling our player. Just because we showed them up down the KP, tearing them apart with our reserves squad.

Well, I'm far more inclined to believe what you say over this. Moore is in a top-of-the-table side engaged in a massive promotion push and will have no worries about getting a better contract - here or elsewhere - regardless of the outcome. It's just that promotion to the Premiership will make him even more valuable.

Why should Pearson or anyone else consult him if the club are adamant they're not going to sell. Why would he or the player need their eyes taking off the promotion target every time there's a new bid or a bit of gossip?  People would be talking in offices all day.

We're talking about Moore, so where are the club playing games with his contract?

He's got 18 months left on his contract not 6 months.

Hh hasn't done enough to warrant an improved contact imo.

Come the end of the season when he's got 12 months left then a new contact can be discussed.

We don't know they are lies, but why get so upset about it?

We should be glad we finally have players that other clubs are interested in.

Liam Moore's twitter header is him kissing the Leicester badge, and it says 'he's one of our own' on it.

I can't see him going anywhere.

Kissing a badge means nothing nowadays.

In the majority of cases I'd agree but with him being a local lad, it may mean more than most instances.

He won't leave. Why would you swap your boyhood club that has a very good chance of promotion for a Premiership side that is close to the relegation spots. He loves Leicester and we are talking about a lad that has that much passion for Leicester he was sick on the pitch when we beat Forest to go into the playoffs last season.

Their looking a bit keen now, it's all over Twitter.

Will be hard to see this one off I think, vibe I'm getting is he's not too opposed to leaving  and their going to make us an offer that's too good to turn down.
