Leicesterpool Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Yes he would... he doesn't even make the bench here!!! Was just about to say exactly the same thing, feels like a blatant attempt to disrupt us at the minute. Nige ought to give Harry a bit of taste of his own medicine!
Corky Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Was Meulensteen still at United when Schlupp had his training period there? That could explain his interest. Would be strange if true given our Man United connections, you'd think he'd want Drinkwater or James instead of Schlupp.

Freeman's Wharfer Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 His agents doing this will be, the bloke will take any opportunity to pressure us in to improving Liam's contract. I'd happily take the £5 million bandied about as i'm still not convinced he'll reach the levels some of our fans think he's capable of. I read this as: "Liam Moore's agent is a bellend." Blantent stirring by his agent Liam wouldn't do this to us Wouldn't his agent and him communicate? Doesn't seem logical that his agent would do this out of his own accord. Moore seems to have a right b@stard of an agent... Why should the fact that another team has come in for him mean that he gets a new deal? He had one about a year ago when he broke into the first team so I'd like to see at least a full season from him before we entertain any talk of a new contract.
DennisNedry Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Liam Moore's twitter header is him kissing the Leicester badge, and it says 'he's one of our own' on it. I can't see him going anywhere.
21st Century Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Do Liam and Wes have the same agent? There seems to be the same aggressive media tactics deployed when both are looking for contract extensions. As an aside Jeff is represented by Tony Yeboah's sports management agency.
LCCFox96 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 He would probably jump at the chance to play prem footie Yes he would... he doesn't even make the bench here!!! A brilliant plan if he was likely to be playing. Not making the bench in the championship is a sign you won't make the bench in the premiership. Imo the best thing he can do is stay here and get a decent loan spell under his belt if we are not going to use him. Agree with the attempts to unsettle Moore though.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Schlupp has had a kid literally days ago. Would he uproot a young family to leave for a premier league side, that may soon be relegated, to almost certainly being loaned out again to the championship. I think not. If Schlupp moved to Fulham, he's only got 4 miles further to travel to work. He could stay where he is. If i was going to bench-warm, I'd take London and a pay rise over Leicester to be fair.

Vlad the Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Agents should be banned, one of the biggest evils of the modern game, all transfers should be mediated by an FA official. This could be funded by players paying a small percentage of their wages into a fund.
lgfualol Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Just let Schlupp go somewhere, i hate to see him upset
Tielemans63 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 We've got Mahrez and KP in - the January transfer window can **** off now thanks.
Yojoe36 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 We'll give Schlupp to Fulham next season. Hopefully he'll be a part of their promotion push.
VLC86 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Are there any decent CB prospects in the youths? George Taft, he has lovely hair
Deucalion Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 I don't think Liam Moore is irreplaceable to be honest. Most of the attraction with him is that he's a local lad and has a lot of potential. I am personally surprised if he is thinking of leaving for Fulham, but if he is, then he should go. The Leicester link obviously means less to him than to the fans. It's also a shame to break up a good relationship with Morgan. If his potential develops elsewhere then that's a shame, but as long as we get an able replacement then I won't worry about it too much.
Ashley Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Rejected another bid according to Sky Sports ticker bar at the bottom or am I too late?

Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 It would be very telling if he hands in a transfer request.

Callabinho Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 I would be a shame to see him go if so, and ultimately I don't think it will benefit him moving to a club that seem stuck in reverse, he would e far better off staying here and winning promotion with us. I guess we will learn a lot about the lad over the next few days, I want him to stay as I like him, think he has cracking potential and is a really nice guy. If he chooses to leave then so be it, I'll wish him well.
