fuchsntf Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 BBC Stats (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25821759): 21 shots and only 2 goals....Sack em all, carry on like this,...it will be no wins in 15 games. Now Reading, thats a team...looks like Derby and Reading get the automatic promotion places..
Happy Fox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Great result Certainly is now, I had a dream last night that we won the league at the Shitty ground.
Fox in the North Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Just 3 gifs to some up my feelings... 1) We win 2) Burnley draw 3) A record 8 wins!
Spudulike Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I remember the 7 win streak !! Me too and also remember driving down to Twerton park to see us break the record. Sadly it ended 0-0. I should've been there tonight to make up for it (but going to Bournemouth instead).
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I also worry about us! That's what I mean more...It's ours to lose now. Keep going as we are, love it. Exactly ours to lose,

MooseBreath Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 28 games played - this is the point at which the rot started last season. We were 2nd, but then picked up just 12 points from the next 16 games which left us in 9th. If we do that again, we're probably looking at 4th or 5th. Need to keep our heads, the job is a long way from being done.
Happy Fox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 MooseBreath you need to forget about last season it is in the past, we are clearly a different kettle of fish and have a mental resolve to get the job done. Don't worry.

Don't worry. Hope so, and i believe so too. But the fact remains, we were 2nd in the league and looking good for autos at this exact time stage last year, absolutely nobody saw our collapse coming, but it happened and it could happen again.

I agree, it's a great moment and I am enjoying it. Just commenting generally on our promotion prospects. The more realistic it starts to look the more phooking nervous I get.

MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Companies specialising in merchandise will have a tough time with regalia if this streak continues!

Need to keep our heads, the job is a long way from being done. It wasn't until matchday 31 where we had our first loss in 8 since losing 1-0 in Cardiff - a 2-1 defeat to bottom-placed Peterborough. First we bounced back with a 3-0 win against Blackburn, but matchday 33 saw us lose to Charlton and that's where we went on our awful run of 10 matches without a win. So technically we have 5 more matches before we reach that point, but I don't think this year's group will.
chapero82 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Here are the goals guys not great quality but at least I tried
Danno Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Here are the goals guys not great quality but at least I tried Thanks a lot mate

The fact that we've come this far this early already proves that the management as well as the players have learnt something incredibly valuable (from last season).
trabuch Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I love the assists on those goals, almost as much as I love the goals..
