Babylon Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 We know you won't believe us.... THE BLUES ARE GOING UP! Birmingham, no chance.
KFS Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I won't mind losing at Bournemouth if it means winning the three after that, all have meaning attached to them in some way for me. If we can win all four I'd be over the moon.
chapero82 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Yeah appreciate that Chapero No worries mate anytime
Brooksy Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Cheers Chapero. Some great finishes and assists there.
MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 The night Gary Rowett was nowhere to be seen.
EdinburghFox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I'm still in tears, that Stringer/Pearson exchange was fabulous. that was brilliant I was cringing when stringer kept on asking the same question differently though
Mack Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 From my seat in the home end as no one at the club bothered to mention I could buy an away ticket on the gate.
Corky Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Birmingham boss Lee Clark: "The scoreline doesn't tell the whole story. In every aspect of the game Leicester's confidence was sky high. "We were happy at the end of the first half that it was only 1-0. We had a go in the second half but they were always the dominant side. "The league table doesn't lie. Eight wins on the bounce at any level is a fantastic achievement. They have quality all over their team and Nigel Pearson has assembled a very good team. I hope that they go on and get promoted."
Langston Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Even before that last line from Clarke's statement it's so refreshing to hear a manager praise the opposition rather than manufacture excuses for losing. Fair play, take note Adkins.

He's praying we'll loan him some of our reserves to help them out.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 We are now top of both the away and home form tables.

Fair play Lee Clark, always thought he was a cvnt...
lcfcliam Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 My view of the goal WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtE5zphAxjg&feature=youtu.be
JonnyBoy Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 were the fans in good voice tonight? sounded good on the radio from what i could hear over stringer and Youngy's 'banter'
HEGGSY Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Just got in. Fvcking beautiful!!! 8 on the bounce, love it love it love it Vardy
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 From my seat in the home end as no one at the club bothered to mention I could buy an away ticket on the gate. What did you make of our end noise wise from where you were? I thought we were fantastic tonight whereas Birmingham look like a club that has lost it's soul. Half-empty stands all round, a terrible team and about 12 lads in total committed to an atmosphere.
Kitchandro Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I've never seen an easier first half for any team than tonight. Men against boys would be an insult to us. Birmingham were truly dreadful, way out of their depth, but we looked ridiculously classy in comparison. The problem is it was too easy, we were complacent once we went 1-0 up and tried to be too exact with our moves. Some of our final balls were also just a bit off. Birmingham improved slightly after the break and I was worried that just a bit of luck could have led to our undoing (the referee was an utter disgrace, the worst I've seen all season, his assistants as well). 2-1 massively flattered them though and Vardy's nicely taken 2nd goal was just the kind of ruthlessness we need in front of goal at the end of some lovely football. I'm struggling to see where it can go wrong tbh. We're surely too good to cock this up.
Leicester_Numan Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 4 consecutive league away wins is also a club record. Edit- Just seen it in the Bournemouth thread. Surprised no-one seemed to know about it. Only 2 fans picked up on it on Twitter after I'd tweeted it. Twice!
MrSpaM Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Don't mean to rub it in, but my god Birmingham's home support is awful
