Devonfox1884 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Just been put on ssn deadline day coverage. Just been put on ssn deadline day coverage. Edit: just a rumour at the moment!!
KFS Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Would be a good move for him, he'd enjoy their playing style.
FrankieADZ Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 be surprised if this happened tbf. £2.5mil bid according to SSN. nah ur alright Swansea
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 What do all these premier managers see in him?
Gold Coast Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I'd take 2.5 for him Can't see him getting in our squad anytime soon and i can't see a bigger offer coming in.
KFS Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 2.5 mil, tara Jeff. We would've made more money this season than spent on transfer fees.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Would sell him but only if we have back up if Konch gets injured
Gold Coast Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 What did united offer for him after his trial there?
leftbackinthechangingroom Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 2.5 million I'd snap their hands off for schlupp good player but not brilliant in any position really so I would take that
Beliall Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 just saw this myself, at first i thought, 2.5 mill, gotta take that, but then it occured t ome that if thats what they are offering, his actual worth must be higher.
Socks Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I would take that and a spare CB if they have one BYE JEFF
VLC86 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Does he need a lift? Piggy back? Anything to get him there!
kingcarr21 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 2.5 million thank you very much and good luck to him really liked him as a player and he might go on to bigger and better things but still a gamble from swansea maybe thinking of next year if they go down. Im sure a run in a team in his natural position would work wonders for schluup but will he get first team football at swansea i wonder
Happy Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 If the worst came to the worst and we couldn't bring anyone in with the money from the Schlupp deal, Miguel could play LB as cover. Use the money wisely NP. LB, CB and an attacking midfielder.
Guest ttfn Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Obviously it depends on how you get to £2.5 million. If it's £2.5 million up front (even without any extras) then great, let's do it. If it's £2.5 million inclusive of a whole load of add-ons, where the actual price is only £500k to start with then it's a bit more of a poser given the lack of cover at left back.
NottsFox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 2.5 million! sell. Thanks for your service Jeff, liked the lad, very decent fella, but that's too good to turn down in my opinion, especially considering he's not a critical first team player and it doesn't seem he would be one soon...
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 It seems the general consensus is sell, sell, sell for that price and I'm inclined to agree.
Jakemoore Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Swap him for michu what do all these teams see in him?! I'd accept that bid and them try and sign cresswell from Ipswich! Decent young LB
Happy Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Signing him as a striker apparently, Oh my word just watch him score 20 goals now Swansea make £2.5m offer for Leicester striker Schlupp Swansea's season has been hit with injuries this term - especially with strikers, most notably star man Michu. And manager Michael Laudrup appears to have made a bid to strengthen his attack with a £2.5million raid on Leicester for striker Jeffrey Schlupp. This probably isn't the time to tell Jacks fans he has scored just one goal in 22 games this term...
