Jakemoore Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 One thing we don't want to do is accept the bid then spend all of the money on 2-3 players! We don't need to mess with the balance of our squad! We will need a new LB though imo
Ric Flair Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Straight swap for Neil Taylor please, but £2.5 million will suffice. Bonkers
Happy Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 One thing we don't want to do is accept the bid then spend all of the money on 2-3 players! We don't need to mess with the balance of our squad! We will need a new LB though imo Why not if we can bring in better players that NP deems are worth it who are we to question? But I do think an attacking LB and a CB are a must. Then another winger perhaps someone like Odubajo please!
Libertine Dream Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 3 million and they can have Waghorn too
K1FOX Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 The abuse he takes on twitter i wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to go anyway. Undeserved abuse for the stupidest of things aswell. £2.5M sounds good though if we can get a new left back in.
ollielcfc Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I reckon we should take it. Can't see him coming close to the 1st team anytime soon, and that's not a bad sum of cash to take! Thanks Jeff, but cya later!
FoxDownSouth Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 What do all these premier managers see in him? rene told furgie that he is a must sign player. Which is why he tried to buy him for fulham...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CloudFox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Bizarre. That's a very good deal at the moment considering he's not even been consistently making our bench recently. I still don't know whether he is going to be great or stalling his progress. Makes me chuckle that they describe him as simply an 'attacker'. Accurate considering none of us are sure of his best position still.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 He's got potential, but 2.5m... Nice knowing you Jeff
StanSP Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 As much as I like Jeffrey, and sorry if you or Cally are reading this, but I'd take £2.5m in an instant. How desperate are Swansea?!
ollielcfc Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 He's got potential, but 2.5m... Nice knowing you Jeff I reckon Nigel would be laughing all the way to the bank with £2.5m!
Maybes Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 £2.5m. Jesus. What's in the sea air down there? I'll drive him there myself. Off you go Jeff.
lcfcsnow Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 N'gog and now Schlupp?! I honestly can't see him making it as a striker, but good luck to him as he's only going backwards here.
Dickov22 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Be disappointed if he left. Still feel he has something special. We don't see it often, mind. I think we want him as a left back, but he wants to be a forward. Hence his lack of progress here,
Captain... Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I like Jeff and feel he has been on the receiving end of far too much stick on here, but if this is 2.5Mill up front, then I would take it, it would be a win/win/win for Swansea us and Schupp.
Libertine Dream Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Schlupp won't ever be a striker. He's been great when he's filled in at left back, him and Dyer ripped Watford to shreds and I was disappointed that Konchesky regained his place so easily. I think if someone can turn him into a winger/inside forward kinda thing then that's where his future lies.
Bluearmy 316 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Squeeze another 1/2m out of them their desperate and I would sell ask for Taylor on loan till end of the season and bid for cresswell in the summer
Master Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I've always preferred him as left back. He's versatile that he can play many positions. Good strong player to come off the bench. But 2.5 million, that's some serious wedge fort Jeff. We could put that towards buying someone a lot better. Sorry Jeff, but laters.
Hitesh Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Deadline Day madness - take an extra £500K at least easily!
Happy Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Rob Tanner â€@RobTannerMerc1m As reported elsewhere, I understand Swansea have bid £2.5 million for Jeff Schlupp but it was instantly rejected. He is not for sale. #lcfc Why?
FrankieADZ Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Rob Tanner â€@RobTannerMerc1m As reported elsewhere, I understand Swansea have bid £2.5 million for Jeff Schlupp but it was instantly rejected. He is not for sale. #lcfc Why? dont want to sell perhaps
Beliall Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Rob Tanner â€@RobTannerMerc1m As reported elsewhere, I understand Swansea have bid £2.5 million for Jeff Schlupp but it was instantly rejected. He is not for sale. #lcfc Why? because hes a good player with bags of potential? as i said, if they are offering 2.5 as a first bid, hes got to be worth much more. keep him
