Watford (pre match)

Don't like Watford. Never have. Typical suburban home counties team with a chip on their shoulder. Giving it the large because their great grandad used to live in some rough part of norf laandan back in the day. Hated them since the 80s - couldn't stand Alec Chamberlain's side parting. Or Gifton Noel Williams. Couldn't work out if his surname was Noel Williams or his first name was Gifton Noel. Same with Leo Fortune West. Remember going there in the 90s to see Collymore's debut. Watford were bottom of the Prem at the time, Nordin Wooter was up front. Think it was the game before Stan's hat-trick against Sunderland.

Of course it's all wind-up. You lot really take yourselves far too seriously. thing is, apart from a few kids with a little excess testosterone, most of us know where we stand in the great football hierarchy. We are a little club from a small town that punches above our weight, with 3 massive prem clubs on our doorstep hoovering up the plastics. A couple of weeks ago it was all 'Man City are tinpot' . Do you really believe we think that?

You lot on the other hand, unless I am having a complete irony failure, really do seem to think you are billy big bollox. Sure, you're riding high at the moment, but I would hope were we in the same position we'd have a bit more humility. After all, you're not there yet, we were massively clear at Christmas in 2007 then Adam Johnson went back to Boro and we imploded. It doesn't take much. I would understand arrogance from Forest or to a lesser extent Derby, who at least have some history, but Leicester haven't really done anything. apart from 3 league cups, Watford probably has a better record over the last 40 years - which given that Leicester is 4 times the size and has no real local competition, is pretty damning.

I actually hope you are promoted - I have a lot of respect for Pearson and I would rather it was him and Dyche that went up than Billy and Harry any day of the week.

We don't, we understand our position in the world. Which is top flight/ promotion chasing to top flight. 46 years in the top league and 10 promotions plus several play-off defeats, so yeah, we have expectations. Nothing major but plenty of us have seen our side compete in the top flight and want that again. What's wrong with ambition?

I'll stress again, I didn't have an issue with the loan thing last year. The rules weren't there to clamp down on it and it was your risk. Just that we had plenty of Watford fans preaching about how great the system was and how you played amazing football when for years you played the football you labelled us as playing.

I'm fed up of all this talk now, we lost a play-off to you and it's gone on too long. You aren't a rival and hopefully this needle will dissipate soon enough, like with Plymouth and Hull previously.

Not that I care for watford or what you think.

But how do you have a better record. Convenient you choose to pick 40 years.

Lets pick 25 7 trips to wembley. 3 cup finals 2 cups. 2 european qualifications.

Plus how far is your actual nearest club rival.

And we have a rugby team that is the equivalent of man utd in rugby terms and draws another 20k of our population.

But don't let facts blind you.

He may have picked forty but maybe we should pick throughout our whole histories and this would then show up how tinpot they are. Think they're only on the windup as I did the same thing on the QPR board and got banned

Apologies if this has already been posted....

Just had a look at their away record and it is far from the best, their last away victory came on the 5th of October against Huddersfield (2-1) and they have only picked up 16 points out of a possible 42. Winning only 3 of a possible 14.

Its a very winnable game but we will have to be at our very best to claim the 3 points as they are capable of getting a result.

Did people really bite on this? Its obviously a wind-up.

Just highlighted some of the irrelevant, untrue or contradictory remarks. It wasn't even a good attempt  lol

You're skim reading a team's forum in which the majority of fans are reacting to complete and utter drivel posted to provoke from your own boards - don't bemoan some of the hyperbole we may be spouting as a riposte to Watford fans inane chat but glance over your own cretinous bunch.

If you'd won nine on the spin and sat top of the league, perhaps you'd understand why we're all fairly confident heading into this one.

Its like the Bournemouth forum again - one or two start with the ironic 'tinpot' stuff and so it rolls into everyone doing it, losing any element of humour the original post did as every village idiot decides he's funny.

Thing is though, you can really sense the anger on their board - they really despise us for bouncing back so well (after the PO final, they were all talking about steamrollering the league this year).

We're in trouble now, Watford have sussed us out,

Just read this on there forum

"Leicester may be top, but I'd rather be relegated than play the sort of football they've been playing. It's a disgrace to the league and they should be fined for bringing the game into disrepute with their agricultural lumping and hoofing".

lol we make the fewest long passes on average per game and a lot of them come from Kasper. Amazing that fans of all clubs seem to have that view of us.

Im sorry but this has 1-1 written all over it for me.

We've been winning but recently, not well.

They want revenge for the 3-0 and we want to make it 10 in a row.

Of course i hope im wrong, and knocky scores a hatrick on the way to a 6-0 victory. We still havent battered anyone yet.

Maybe not in terms of scoreline but in terms of performance/dominance, we've battered a few this season.

Numan's already made the point above, but if Millwall and Derby at home weren't both a battering then I have no idea what is.

"If we were in your position we'd show a bit more humility"

That's why half of us have a problem with your fans pal, when you were second going into the home game against us even before the playoffs, the sheer arrogance that invaded this board was incredible.

This this and more this
