lestajigs Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 We're in trouble now, Watford have sussed us out, Just read this on there forum "Leicester may be top, but I'd rather be relegated than play the sort of football they've been playing. It's a disgrace to the league and they should be fined for bringing the game into disrepute with their agricultural lumping and hoofing". What a complete ****pig
VinceNoir Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 I demand to know what's inside. Underwear probably. I've got a feeling I'll be shitting myself for the last 20 minutes of this one.
weller54 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Hahaha.. What a joke!.. Hope we shut them up on Saturday... And we will... Tossers!
foxfanazer Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 I demand to know what's inside.A massive banner that saysDeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyy Thanks for the memory

ealingfox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Let me get this straight. Watford fans are trolling and fishing for bites specifically from Leicester fans on their own forum in an attempt to get Leicester fans to sign up and bite, on their forum? Jesus, things are more desperate for them than we thought. Or maybe this is the whole bag, what they've been working on ever since last May. They're collectively trying to perpetuate the memories of the whole play-off thing, even though it's completely and utterly irrelevant now, because they need this 'rivalry' to continue for them to have any relevance. They think having a rivalry with a big Club will increase their profile and get a few more people to notice Watford. Let's be honest, who would know about Atletico Madrid if it wasn't for their rivalry with Real? Same goes for Espanyol with Barca, or QPR and Chelsea? They don't have any real rivals, so they must have thought this was their chance to have any kind of relationship with the big boys.
Corky Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Started with 11 wins from 13 I think (same under Graham Taylor in 2001 before we fell away whilst Fulham runaway with the league) 2006 was simply a case of us staying in 3rd behind Reading and Sheffield United. 1999 was pretty special winning 7 of the last 8 games to break into the play-offs and then win against the odds at Wembley. One of those two games you didn't win was the 4-1 win at our place, when we all thought Martin Allen would take us to glory....
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Nervous defeat looms No that s away to the trees and the manager of the month curse. That's the time to worry. No games easy in this division but this is not a big ask. Turn up do the job.
MrSpaM Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 "To be fair to Leicester, they often do well against us as it's classic David against Goliath. We're their cup final every season and it's tough to remind our players how playing a club who used to be nearly as big as we are now, is still important." "Burnley and QPR are getting the auto places, unless we manage to nick one. Leicester will fall away badly after we maul them on Saturday and shatter their illusions and confidence. If they're REALLY lucky, they might get to meet us in the play offs at the end of the season so we can inflict even more pain upon them." Really? I think all the primary schools in Watford need to start blocking access to their football forums
Brooksy Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Nervous defeat looms Shit, your mate's not reffing again is he?
MC Prussian Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 What a complete ****pig It's called obvious Watford trolling.

I think all the primary schools in Watford need to start blocking access to their football forums Another bloody cup final! Seriously, how many different teams' supporters have said this about this season? It's quite bizarre reading someone trying their damnedest to rile us up by making out that we are somehow small-fry while they are glorious, despite all the pissing evidence pointing to the contrary. I'm even more desperate for promotion to get shot of all these chumps - when fans of Arsenal, Man Utd etc make derisory comments it's one thing, but if you follow a bang-average small-time second-tier team with no purposeful history and try to do the same, it just highlights the pathetic chip on your shoulder.
Fox_in_a_Box Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Why are Watford so obsessed? They have nothing else. No one gives a shit about them so they latch on to anything they can try to create some sort of rivalry.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Not sure if we will beat them or not , but just looked at their past history and they've never won a major trophy . I love the fact that their only bit of glory was beating us and then they lost at Wembley; the num nuts probably don't realise that that is a catalyst as to why we're ten points clear. Bless em even their rivals Luton Town have won a major trophy . Really couldn't care less about Watford tbh
dayday Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Is this the same Watford that could not even sell there play off allocation at our place.
harrowhorn Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 If they want to try to wind us up they should at least come and do it on here. More fun that way Half of them are banned by your paranoid mods. Of course it's all wind-up. You lot really take yourselves far too seriously. thing is, apart from a few kids with a little excess testosterone, most of us know where we stand in the great football hierarchy. We are a little club from a small town that punches above our weight, with 3 massive prem clubs on our doorstep hoovering up the plastics. A couple of weeks ago it was all 'Man City are tinpot' . Do you really believe we think that? You lot on the other hand, unless I am having a complete irony failure, really do seem to think you are billy big bollox. Sure, you're riding high at the moment, but I would hope were we in the same position we'd have a bit more humility. After all, you're not there yet, we were massively clear at Christmas in 2007 then Adam Johnson went back to Boro and we imploded. It doesn't take much. I would understand arrogance from Forest or to a lesser extent Derby, who at least have some history, but Leicester haven't really done anything. apart from 3 league cups, Watford probably has a better record over the last 40 years - which given that Leicester is 4 times the size and has no real local competition, is pretty damning. I actually hope you are promoted - I have a lot of respect for Pearson and I would rather it was him and Dyche that went up than Billy and Harry any day of the week.

Not that I care for watford or what you think. But how do you have a better record. Convenient you choose to pick 40 years. Lets pick 25 7 trips to wembley. 3 cup finals 2 cups. 2 european qualifications. Plus how far is your actual nearest club rival. And we have a rugby team that is the equivalent of man utd in rugby terms and draws another 20k of our population. But don't let facts blind you.
KFS Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 "If we were in your position we'd show a bit more humility" That's why half of us have a problem with your fans pal, when you were second going into the home game against us even before the playoffs, the sheer arrogance that invaded this board was incredible.
KFS Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 And to excuse your moronic proportion of fans with the idea that it's all a big game to play on the size of a club, when there are pages and pages of shite on that forum is simply laughable. I doubt that a group of grown, capacitated human beings would intentionally reel it off because it's 'customary to do so, it's ironic' Maybe the first few to invade the board and comment critically about 'massive Leicester', inevitably bred an ironic 'massive Watford' response. But I think there is a huge case for group think whereby some of your fans think you are a superpower post- Foreign ownership. In that regard, how does that make our fans very different to yours?

There are lots on here that have delusions of grandeur. If we do fail from this position, there are going to be a lot of silly looking people.
GingerrrFox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 What makes me laugh the most is when teams like Watford call us Tinpot because we are a relatively big city with one club and should have a better following. The only thing with that is we have one of the powerhouses of world rugby as our next door neighbours. Leicester Tigers really are up there as a Manchester United of the rugby world. If they weren't around we would have a +40,000 stadium and be up along the size of Leeds.

You started out so well, until you got to the highlighted part. I appreciate your attempts at trying to talk sense to some extent, but even in your posts, the illusions of grandeur shine through pretty clearly. For a club like Leicester with its size and its history to act a bit "billy bollox" after years of turmoil and frustration is understandable. Just look at the bigger picture and the historical context. For Watford fans, however, to act in such twattish ways both after the playoff win last year and still today makes me chuckle. Talking about "tinpot" in its purest sense. I'm sorry that I don't understand Watford humour, but in every "irony" there's a sense of truth. For all of your jokers out there, there's enough idiots to believe that Watford are the next best thing after sliced bread. You reap what you sow. I want to believe that a large part of your fanbase is level-headed and reasonable. Shame I can't really say the same about you after this post. Maybe you want to try again. Talking about context, you seem to encounter the same symptoms like we did when the big money came in and the hype and the hope and the big names. Maybe you need to go through a bit more hardship to appreciate what we've been through before coming back on here with your special sense of irony. Besides, we have fun on here, too. Sometimes, it's just a matter of dealing with some of our fans who can't really appreciate the turnaround that we've achieved in the past 24 months (on the whole). I can but suggest you take a look at some of the Derby or Forest online outlets before coming up with such ludicrous claims about "arrogance". Forest, for example, are still going on about a competition won some thirty-odd years ago and they even share a special trophy for the games against the Rams. Goodbye and goodnight and may the better team win on Saturday.
