Watford (pre match)

Why am I reading comments like, "I'd rather have the Deeney goal than be top of the Championship"? Is that a fvcking joke hahahah

Honestly, why aren't we absolutely tearing them to bits over the current league standings? They'd be on here like a flash if it were the other way round.

Because, like F***** with us, there's really no enmity from our side. The only difference is that with us it's not an embarrassingly thin façade.  On top of that I'm pretty sure it's only a minority of Watford fans who genuinely believe idiotic things like that, a minority who in reality are too busy being ashamed at their season so far to dare taunt us, which should give you an insight into the sort of person we're dealing with.

Because that's how small-time they really are.

I'm surprised them and Forest didn't give Deeney a guard of honour as he walked onto the pitch. He's a legend at both clubs isn't he?

Just had a look at the Watford forum and their rational from the majority for why they think they'll beat us, along the lines of we're in such good form that it can't last, is amusing to say the least.

I'm not saying us losing is inconceivable, far from it, but the logic they're giving as to why they will win is just moronic!

We should all celebrate on the pitch at the end of the game as if we are going up!

I was looking at their forum having a giggle at them, but the user gold_finger basically said everything I was thinking. At least there are some down to earth people over there.

I hope we win just to shut them up though.

Why wait till the end, they didn't!

All I remember from that is everyone running on the pitch with some bright flair running down the stairs in the home end lol

Saw this again for the first time The other day, really cringey when you think back.

Knocky will be well up for this game!.. Think he'll terrorise them!!!... Win no 10 on the way.... Then just another 6 wins (from the remaining 16 matches) should see us into the premier league!!...

Brilliant stuff on their forum. One idiot says he'd only take Kasper, Wes and Nuge from our squad. Another names his Watford line-up for Saturday that contains 3 British players (no wonder they're 13th) and best of all, one idiot thinks that we go on about 'DEEEENEY' more than they do.

On a side note I really do fear Watford. Not the team, they're crap. But I fear for my own safety if they bring those ultra's that were abusing Knocky after he scored, you know those lads that looked like Bill Gates' offspring wearing trackies.

I hope the players are still hurting from May and that the last game hasn't wiped out any thoughts of 'unfinished business'.

This is the weekend it all went pair-shaped last year so a win is massive for me in that regard.

You lot are all extremely confident! I hope NP is keeping the players fully focused on each game.

I'm a big advocate of not getting ahead of oneself and taking one game at a time.

However, after browsing through their pre-match thread, I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to a thrashing at our hands.

Some of these comments are really, really mind-boggling.

But see for yourselves:

Leicester cannot go on winning every week

Looking at their squad in amazed where they are in the league.
Forget even looking at individuals, their team is made up of effectively only players who scraped 6th last season, combined with players they actually had to loan out last year as they wern't deemed good enough, this, plus the addition of the incredible squads of Wigan and QPR is fairly sufficient grounding to suggest surprise at where they are in the league.
I don't think our squad is superior to Leicester's but it is certainly stronger.
How many peanlties have contributed to their rise up the league though? They are the new Palace.
Leicester have had shed loads of good fortune this season. Not only all the dodgy pens awarded to them, the goal against Boro the other week when the ball went out of play, the goal against B'mouth on sat which didn't fookin cross the line. Us on the flip side have had no end of bad luck. It's got to change, surely?
leicester are tinpot.

I see some are getting their ammunition out early.

lol at all those claims.

The one thing I picked up on first is their away record. Four draws and a loss.

Hopefully we'll put in a good performance and another 3-0 win.

"leicester are tinpot"

That one is my personal favourite, that's the kind of work Chaucer would've been proud of.

Say the fans who are not bothered about losing a final as they won the semi-final against a non-rival.
