Voll Blau Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 I have never designed a shirt before, so I decided to make one using the only real tools I had - with an inspirational message that I think all of our fans can agree on. Feedback appreciated. Can it have FOREVER FOXES and KEEP THE CITY IN THE CITY on the back?
volpeazzurro Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 So with our new home kit design confirmed for next season I thought I would bring out the annual thread on LCFC Fan designed kits. Home & Away Above Away as full kit Home, Away & Third(based on 1996-98 kits) Leicester Anthem/Walkout Jacket That white away kit would be the best we've had in ages. You should perhaps do this for a living!
Ashley Posted 18 February 2014 Author Posted 18 February 2014 As usual they are all shit and pointless Like most of your post then hey 'banter'king
Ricey Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 I just hope they ditch the gold this year, but seeing as it's seen as lucky in Thailand and we've had the seasons we've had this season, I can't see it.
Munshi Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Those kits are amazing, seriously you even got the little string things on the shorts.
Jace Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Funny how we disagree with these foreign owners bringing in lucky colours like us this season and Cardiff last season yet we have both ended up top of the table! No wonder these guys are loaded Im sure you are right though Ricey think it will be here to stay
Fox in the North Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 I love all of Ashley's designs, especially the ones that are based on the last time we were in the premier league

Home & Away Above Away as full kit Home, Away & Third(based on 1996-98 kits) Leicester Anthem/Walkout Jacket I love the first two and the jacket. Please make this our kit!!!!!!!!

LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Ash, that jacket at the bottom is great! I'd buy that
GingerrrFox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 I just hope they ditch the gold this year, but seeing as it's seen as lucky in Thailand and we've had the seasons we've had this season, I can't see it. I quite like the Gold. It's original and a subtle way for the owners to have their individual input on the club without disrespecting everything before them and doing a Vincent Tan.
Beliall Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 i didnt like the gold at first, but ive got used to it now. never liked yellow anyway, hope it never comes back

Do you really think it is because it is lucky we have gold on our kit? I think it is more to do with the fact that the king power logo has gold trim. The logo on their stores is blue with a gold trim and a white background, they are successful multibillionnaire businessmen, not superstitious clowns, they know about branding and they will want as much association between us and their brand as possible. The gold trim adds to that. God knows why they went for an awful grey kit this season though.
Kitchandro Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Yellow is much better (and more traditional) than that shitty gold. People forget all the nice yellow kits we had in the 90s.
thybluefox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 I swear the season before last we were promised a unique kit design, and not one of the template ones. Obviously BS though.
Stadt Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Yellow and blue kits are decent, look at Arsenal's,Everton's and Juve's away kits.

Never said they were clowns, but judging by the elephants outside the ground last season, they are superstitious. As far as I'm concerned, gold has nothing to do with Leicester. Our kits should be blue and white. I'm delighted we have the owners we do, but I think work needs to be done on our identity. If you go to a home match now, you see more references to King Power and Thailand than you do references to Leicester City and our history. Exposure for KP and other Thai companies is fine, but in moderation. I'd love to see us build a statue or two outside the ground or at least reinstate the legends banner that we used to have around the top of the pitch.

I agree with you in some manner, especially with the statue statement. But I, personally, think the King Power banner around the top of the stadium looks really smart and I actually prefer it to the banner with the players we had beforehand.
kingfox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Your posts? My posts have been more than sufficient recently. Like most of your post then hey 'banter'king And like these bloody pointless shirts you do. This is a football forum, not a fashion forum.
Captain... Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 My posts have been more than sufficient recently. And like these bloody pointless shirts you do. This is a football forum, not a fashion forum. But they are easy to avoid, don't click on the Fan made kits threads, simple, your posts are not so easy to avoid
Ashley Posted 18 February 2014 Author Posted 18 February 2014 But they are easy to avoid, don't click on the Fan made kits threads, simple, your posts are not so easy to avoid This. You could always block him Pancake
kingfox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 But they are easy to avoid, don't click on the Fan made kits threads, simple, your posts are not so easy to avoid I came to see, what pointless rubbish Ashley prepared this time around. The yellow one is nice. But like I said, this is football not fashion. If he wants to be the next Vivienne Westwood, I suggest he does this at college.
kingfox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 This. You could always block him Pancake Why would anybody want to block me. I can be annoying, but I am entertaining.
