Holocaust survivors?

I don't think so somehow!

that's Frankie Boyle standard wittiness!

Not really.

Heard that before (the hissing the was even common from our lot at filbo)

I don't think Spurs fans will get too upset about a song about foreskin and Hitler really isn't coming for them.

So because we used to hiss at Tottenham (something I never did, made me cringe even back then) it's not something to find abhorrent nowadays. There's no humour in banter about the holocaust, many Jews do attend games (read David Baddiel's view in being a Jew amongst Chelsea fans when the banter starts) and must be horrified.

you're definitely on the wind up, fair play. if you think referencing hitler to Jews isn't offensive then you're strange.

Why not?

Well for a start the last one died aged 110 a few weeks ago.

So I doubt we had a load of them cruising the pubs of Whitechapel or sat in White Hart Lane a month or so back .

Maybe you should actually read what I say, I never once stated it wasn't offensive.

if fat people don't want to be ridiculed for being fat, they can lose weight, its ENTIRELY in their hands, if you think otherwise then nobody will ever change your mind on the subject

religion is more complicated on every level.

Horse hockey. Religion is entirely in the brainwashed believers hands.

Are you feeling alright Matt?

Because you're talking dribble.

Wasn't that just the oldest survivor?

Brilliant, another one here who wants to tell people what they can and can't find humouress.

I've been at comedy shows where the Holocaust has been mentioned and joked about, some will find it offensive, some will find it funny. That's not going to change.

Oldest sorry.

Given the maths though I'm sure it's unlikely a Holocaust survivor would be present.

Given the Maths?

2014 - 1945 = 69

Plenty of 69 year olds go to football matches. Even older believe it or not.

For the record referencing Hitler to Jews isn't at all offensive.

Singing 'Adolf Hitler he's coming for you' is, but referencing him isn't.

Because taking the piss out of tubbies is funny.

Unless one is standing next to you, then you crap yourself.

Plus tubby can lose weight, but idiots like you will stay stupid.

You would have to be a right blimp for me to take the piss out of your weight.

Mobs and Yobs on Channel 5 just had a feature of this seasons game against Barnsley and they waited till the end of the game to "kick out" some bloke who had been banging on the back of the stand. Whoever that blonde **** is who was in charge is an absolute ****ing bitch and deserves a slap. She was literally gagging to make some sort of action for the cameras. She is literally a grade A ****.

She was the oldest living holocaust survivor.

So in a thread about racism and homophobia you chose to add misogyny.

Pretty sure, the first step is for everyone to stop trying to decide what other people should find offensive, especially when they're not the target.

There is one significant difference between 'banter' and 'abuse' and that is malice.

Unfortunately, plenty of people cannot distinguish between the two.

I'm sure you've probably been to or seen a comedy show where someone refers to a black person using the n word. I'm sure some people still find it funny. Doesn't mean it's okay for people to find it funny does it?

You condemned the small number of Everton fans for doing that (rightly so). What's different about the Holocaust? If you can see that it's wrong to refer to a black person using that word, why do you think we should accept the fact that some people find the murder of 13,000,000+ human beings funny?

Posted

Blimey...can we at least all agree that discrimination of ANY kind is terrible and should be stamped out of the game entirely??...its not banter in any way.  Also saying certain groups of fans don't mind it is ****ing stupid.

You can find things offensive without being the target.

Humour is a very personal thing. If someone near me was hissing and got twatted I'd laugh.

Misogyny? Surely if he was only talking of one woman it's not Misogynistic? That's like calling someone a racist because they called Sol Campbell a tw@t.

Well yes that's exactly what I was pointing out to you.

Humour is subjective for everyone.

Andy Holt is a stain on the planet - felt sorry for the journo trying to get answers from him. He acted like a child. The guy is the biggest opposition the Safe Standing campaign has. The sooner he is removed the better for everyone.

He definitely has a syrup too.

No way was that his real hair. He made himself look a right dick telling the journalist to shut up. lol
