rico Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 New series started tonight on BBC1 ,featuring all the midlands teams, looks like its being presented from a village hall
Out Foxed Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 one of the producers was on here, he posted in the wrong thread though so it didn't get much traction. the director (i think) is a leicester fan.
Jimothy Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Turned it off. Sound is awful, camera shot of Manish presenting is blocked by the camera man shooting Collymore standing in the way. Set looks cheap and tacky. It's just woeful.
HitchinFox Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I'm in the East of England BBC so have to endure Norwich, Colchester etc. At least you've got a village hall - the "fans forum" lads are sitting in a pub discussing safe standing. Dire.

Guest MattP Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Only managed 5 minutes of it. Was so amateur! Same, a right Motley Crue on and as soon as that silly bint from Walsall offered her "expert opinion" it was time to turn off.
HitchinFox Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Does Matt "Jools" Holland still present it in his wooden style? Yes. Yes he does.
Leicester_Numan Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 You'd think that being the first in a new series they'd focus on the league leaders but no, 1 minute of Leicester and 10 minutes kissing Steve McClaren's arse. Hate the set, sound was woeful and what's with the league tables on blackboards that look like they've been done by a kid?
foxgas Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Just watched it on iplayer, what a load of rubbish just like everything else from BBC Nottingham. They may as well shut the place down and knock a tenner off the license fee as there is so much bias towards Nottingham and Derby . Has that Nat Jackson got something going on with McLaren? I felt like I was intruding.
demon_dog Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I can only get west mids sport so have to put up with hearing about villa, brum, baggies, wolves and cov!

Hate the set, sound was woeful and what's with the league tables on blackboards that look like they've been done by a kid? I thought it was awful, but I understand why Mclaren got so much attention. From a tv point of view there is nothing more boring that consistency. Derby (hopefully) won't go up but will be fighting until the end. On the other hand, the media seems to think that we are a runaway train that cannot be caught - that's a dull story
mitchofox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I can only get west mids sport so have to put up with hearing about villa, brum, baggies, wolves and cov! go on bbc iplayer

LAprice_ Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I've been waiting since Saturday to see highlights of the immense Leicester build-up that lead to the Drinkwater goal. I've been waiting ages to see highlights of the full passing moves that lead to the Nugent and Knockaert chances. Football League Show didn't offer anything. Fine, I'll check LCFC's YouTube, still, no EXTENDED highlights. Okay, maybe the Sky Sports website... Nope, just the same 90 second clip. Great, it's all good though cos I'm SURE Late Kick-off will show PROPER highlights. Oh. 60 seconds. Plus, they only showed about 10secs of Nigel Pearson's interview. Woeful.

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 The sound quality is woeful. It was mental - properly quiet, so I had to turn it right up, then as soon as they showed highlights it went f***ing loud so I had to turn it down sharpish to avoid waking the missus. Gave up in the end and had to lip-read. Looks like it was filmed in someone's shed, and an angry mob of Weight Watchers dropouts turned up and were somehow let in. Don't think they'd even cleaned the patio tables.
Jimmy Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 the constant change of camera shot seemed like the director has ADD or was letting his kid press the buttons
Beliall Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 i gotta see this if it was that bad. ok i watched 5 mins and i think your all being a little harsh, i thought that the boys whos scholls project it was did very well, especially in getting the right tint of yellow on collymore
deejdeej Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 The most interesting thing on the show was the cracking side view of Nat Jackson phhhwoooar.
Guesty Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I'm watching it on Iplayer now. I cannot believe how bad this is.
