As a Final Fantasy enjoyer since the early 90s that has really disliked where the series has gone for the last 4-5 entries, this seems like it's a bit of a throwback. Looking forward to it.

Yeah absolutely, don't get me wrong, it's a good game and it'll appeal to basically everyone but that's sort of the point. 

 

So many genuinely good games these days get review bombed or attacked because the capital G Gamers find some reason to call them woke or get offended by some hint of inclusion or diversity in there somewhere. 

 

Where as Clair Obscur has you playing as a handsome but slightly nerdy white man leading a team of beautiful waifus that you can buy the deluxe edition to put in hot pants, fishnets and thigh highs. 

 

It's just that unlike terrible gooner bait slop like Stella Blade, Clair Obscur also manages to be a really good game that normal people will also enjoy.

Yeah you’re not wrong on that. I think a lot of the gaming community are just impressed that such a small team just made a passion project that looks like a huge studio made it.  Certainly not a typical goty contender but a refreshing change of pace

Playing Shadow Man Remastered. A game I’d have like to have played back in the day on the 64 but I was a bit too young at the time.

 

A right maze of a game. Enjoying myself though.

 

Along with Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash N-Sane Trilogy, Doom 64, Quake 64 (1 and 2), Turok (1 and 2) I’ve been going through loads of late 90s games I missed out on. Bliss.

 

Wish the Rareware games of 90s would get same remastered treatment as Spyro/Crash. I’d be in heaven.

Currently working my way through the early stages of Jedi Survivor.  Decent start on Coruscant and the gameplay is very smooth but the world of Kodoh feels empty in comparison.

 

The map appears to be a big improvement over the original though so finding all those collectables for platinum shouldn't be too troublesome.

 

Hopefully there's more ups than downs with this one.  Fallen Order was inconsistent.

Not video game related but partial to a ww2 table top wargame called flames of war......the whole building and painting side of it as well. Video game wise drop in to stellaris console edition and Izonso (spelt wrong I think)

I am also around that day. Now ive found Room 46 i have started to look online on how to find some of the remaining rooms. There are so many puzzles that i didn't realise were even in the game haha.

 

Very enjoyable game and its a game that i love just for its relaxing pace.

 

The dart board is beginning to annoy me now. Cant work out the equations anymore so find myself clicking every number until i get the correct answers. Can take 15 minutes lol

Yeah for the dartboard I found a solution online where you just put in exactly what's displayed and it figures it out for you which is handy. It got so convoluted to the point whereby I didn't even have the clues so figured it was easier to just take out the mental stress once it stopped being regular +/-/*/!

Bit the bullet and brought Clair Obscura Expedition 33. Always loved a Turn based RPG game. Just find the combat so much better and more thought out.

 

3 hours in and enjoying it so far. Great music and level design. Lets see how the story plays out

I don’t buy many games these days, particularly outside my circle of familiarity, but this keeps catching my attention. Might have to bite the bullet and go for it.

 

Having grown up with the golden era of Final Fantasy, I’m certainly familiar with turn-based RPG play. I like the newer style Action-RPG showcased in the FF7 Remake series better, but what I’ve read of this - that you can still time blocks and evasion on your opponent’s turn - does appeal.

Tainted Grail : Fall of Avalon exits EA next Friday (23rd) with Release 1.0

Skyrim like RPG set in a dark Arthurian setting, which has excellent atmosphere.

Been playing it since EA. Quality stuff considering the size of the team.

I've finished the story on Jedi Survivor but the road to platinum beyond that is a real slog.

 

Still 21 trophies remaining and a huge bunch of collectibles to find.  Clearing Koboh and Jedha is going to take hours :blink:

Dabbling in a bit of the precinct on and off but mainlining jurassic world evolution 2 a lot. frontier did a lot right with this management game that they missed with others they made

Played quite a lot of the first one but never really touched the sequel

its on gamepass if you have that. i tried it on there first then bought it in the recent steam sale
