DennisNedry Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper - 9 - Pulled off two vital second half saves and what a header! De Laet - 7 Morgan - 6 Wasil - 6 Schlupp - 7 Knockaert - 7 (Bonus point for effort) Drinkwater - 5 James - 4 (Needs a rest) Mahrez - 3 - Dreadful 1st half, improved slightly in the 2nd. Nugent - 4 Vardy - 5
Finnegan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Wow, a 3 for Mahrez, that bad? Nothing came off for him, he fluffed a sitter early doors and never got confidence back. 3 a bit harsh only because the whole midfield was inescapably shit. I'd give them all a 4.
Monsell1976 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Wouldn't rate anyone above a 5, a bad day at the office for all of them, some would struggle for a 5.
Jimmy Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Schmeichel 7 should have done better for the goal RDL 6 Wasyl 7 Morgan 6 Schlupp 6 Mahrez 6 James 4 Drinkwater 5 Knockaert 8 Vardy 6 Nugent 4
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper 8 For the end alone RDL 6 Morgan 6 Waso 6 Schlupp 7 Koncky 6 Dd 6 James 5 Mahrez 5 Nugent 3 Vardy 4 Dog shit finishing
C-man Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 The good news is James and Drinkwater will never play that badly again. They can't.
Finnegan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Wouldn't rate anyone above a 5, a bad day at the office for all of them, some would struggle for a 5. I'd possibly give Schlupp and Wasyl both a 6.5 and Kasper a solid 9, unless he should have got the goal (hard to tell from my angle.) What we went to 352 for I'll never know. Worrying levels of panic stations.
svensson Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I don't care what anyone says, Kasper deserves a 10, he scored a bullet header to rescue a point for gods sake....
Guest ttfn Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Schmeichel 9 De Laet 5 Morgan 7 Wasilewski 6 Schlupp 5 Knockaert 6 Drinkwater 4 James 4 Mahrez 4 Nugent 4 Vardy 5 Subs: Dyer 6 Wood 5 Phillips 5
TheUltimateWinner Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper - 10 - What a goal son. De Laet - 6 - Improved since Saturday, needed more support, didn't make as many forward runs Morgan - 6 - caught out a few times Wasyl - 6 - same as Wes Jeffers - 7.5 - most attacking threat first half, second half it was Knockaert. Good runs and good filling in in a 3 player defence considering he is a striker. Mahrez - 4 - greedy and poor. Reality check for a lot of fans jerking off over this guy already, but he's young so, he will learn. James - 5 - he tried, probably better than Danny tonight DD - 4.5 - poor balls, but got a few shots on target. Didn't have any link up play just like James. Will I get on his back? Nope, just one poor game. Knocky - 8 - Most attacking threat, he made things happen and at one point was our last man, tracking back and building things from defence and breaking up attacks. Nugent - 6.5 - would of been an amazing assist if vardy had put it away, worked hard and drew players into the game. Vardy - 5 - not his usual self, I think he was more focused on Saturday as he had no flair tonight. Can't blame him it would play on my mind too, dear god that chance though... Subs: Wood - 6.5 - can't jump but brought the much needed physicality to the game. Good to follow up on kasper's goal too. Dyer - 6.5 - Much needed tempo down the left and his touch was great tonight. Took him 10 minutes to get into the game though. Philips - 5.5 - quiet, unlucky not to score though.
Dickov22 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper 9 Phenonemal header. Showed the rest of the team how to attack the ball in the air in the box De Laet 7 Good game Morgan 6 did ok against a physical front pair Wasilewski 5 Distrubution poor Schlupp 6 Did well going forward. Few wayward passes Mahrez 5 Very poor first half. Much better second. Looked a bit lightweight Drinkwater 5 Never seen him lose the ball so much but credit to him, he kept going despite having a stinker James 5 Anonomous Knockaert 7 Covered every blade of grass second half. One man show trying to get us back into it Nugent 4 Woeful Vardy 5 Never in the game. Terrible one on one. Thought he was denied a definite penalty Wood was dreadful; like the Wood of last year. So apathetic and useless in the air Phillips and Dyer didn't have much of an impact Yeovil defending heroic
kingfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Schmeichel 10 - Gotta give him a 10 haven't you De Laet 7 - Defended superbly second half Morgan 7 - Had a tough battle, but came out on top tonight in my opinion Wasilewski 6 - Not too bad Schlupp 7 - Was the only one who looked dangerous for the majority of the game Knockaert 5 - Pulled the strings for last 10 mins, but did nothing for the rest of the game Drinkwater 5 - Passing was terrible, until the last 10 mins James 4 - Worst performance I have seen from him, in a City shirt Mahrez 4 - Woeful, very very greedy Vardy 5 - Should of scored Nugent 4 - Did absolutely nothing
themotivator Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 it was pretty see drinkwater and james play the way they did today. nothing was coming off for them. Was put in some decent tackles in the first halfKnockaert deserves some brownie points for effort Schlupp is still looking like a decent left back.Nugent and vardy also dissappointing.Marhez was frustrating.Kasper was the only player who was ever gonna score today so he gets a 10 because I cant help but lose my shit when a goalie scores.
One Legged Beaver Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Schmeichel - 10 (Give the man a statue ) De Laet - 5 Morgan - 8 Wasyl - 7 Schlupp - 7 Knockaert - 7 Drinkwater - 4 James - 3 Mahrez - 4 Nugent - 4 Vardy - 4 (How did he not score in the first few minutes?)
Agent Fox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper - (10 for the goal) 7 for the rest. RDL - 5 - Makes poor decisions. Wasyl - 6 - Needs to cut out his 'Hollywood' passes, you're a CB, do the simple pass. Wes - 6 - Not his best, but still better than most in this league. Schlupp - 7 - Defended well, tried going forward, probs should have scored. Mahrez - 4 - Should have scored, slowed attacks down too often, needs to make quicker decisions. Drinkwater - 5 - Poor passing, decent last 10 mins. James - 4 - Abysmal. Was this the first time he and DD have played together? Knockeart - 7 - Hardworking, the only player out there that looked like making something happen. Nugent - 3 - He offered...? Vardy - 4 - Should have scored, waited for something to happen, didn't make anything happen. Subs Dyer - 6 - Was a half decent threat, better when he was on than off. Wood - 6 - Needs to bladdy jump but kinda got a goal and picks good positions. Phillips - 3 - The point of him coming on was? Coaching staff - 4 - Tactics were? Subs were bizarre.
Bert Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper 9 - Should've saved the free kick. But made a good save from Miller 2nd half and scored the equaliser. RDL 5 - Another poor game. Schlupp 7 - Left back is certainly his position. Good game again. Wasyl 6 - Solid enough without inspiring. Morgan 7 - Handled Miller well enough. Knocky 6 - Did ok. Looked good when he went central. Not blaming him for their goal. But it all came from him trying to do too much wih the ball (again) and losing it. They go up the pitch from it get the free kick and score. Mahrez 5 - Finished strongly but was otherwise average. Drinky 5 - Worst he's been this season. James 5 - See Drinky. Nugent 5 - Offered nothing. Vardy 5 - Seemed subdued. Should've scored when 1 on 1. Wood 6 - Good job he followed up else we'd have lost. Phillips 5 - Missed a glorious chance. Dyer 6 - Added another dimension. Should've had a penalty.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 After watching that tonight I'd give them **** ALL. ALL **** ALL.
iancognito Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper - 10 - The only man on the park with a bit of drive and passion to win De Laet - 4 - In dreamworld, poor distribution and crossing, trotting about like we were 3-0 up Wes - 6 - Pretty solid but it's games like this he needs to be screaming at players to wake-up Wasyl - 7 - An absolute rock. No idea why they subbed him instead of De Laet. Schlupp - 6 - Time to bring Konchesky back for the run in, Jeff's not a left back, sorry. Drinkwater - 3 - Utterly crap passing, no co-ordination with James, real off day. James - 5 - Looked tired in the 2nd half but passed better than Drinky Mahrez - 4 - Bad day at the office, no end product Knockaert - 5 - In and out of the game, closed down by their 15 defenders. Nugent - 5 - Another one who looks tired. GTF or Phillips might be worth a go for a game or two. Vardy - 6 - Clearly holding back because of the 9 yellows, got no service at all. SUBS - Dyer - 7 - Our best attacking threat, their right back shit himself at one point. Wood - 3 - Doesn't win headers/flicks, no mobility or pace, control is piss-poor Phillips - 5 - Had a decent chance that he fluffed but afflicted by the same lack of service as Vardy
MC Prussian Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper - 8 MOTM De Laet - 4 Headless, careless. Morgan - 6 Kept Miller out of the game for most part, well done. Wasil - 5 Is keeping the ball on the ground too much to ask for? Schlupp - 6 Knockaert - 5 Drinkwater - 4 James - 4 Mahrez - 3 Ineffective against solid tough-tackling sides. Was too selfish today, as well. Never got into the game. Nugent - ? Anyone seen him tonight? Vardy - 4 Too wasteful in front of goal, but then again, didn't have a lot of chances. All in all, our entire midfield looked very knackered tonight.
Alf Bentley Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Schmeichel 8 Couple of decent saves, fierce commitment, stunning header De Laet 6.5 Slow start but improved Morgan 7 Rock Wasyl 7 Strong before he was sacrificed Schlupp 8 MoM Yet another strong performance Mahrez 5.5 Atrocious 1st half, much better 2nd Drinky 4 Absolute stinker, rubbish passing; please let that be a one-off in a wonderful season James 4.5 Completely ineffectual Knocky 6.5 Truly dreadful 1st half, very impressive last 30 mins; great attitude & stunning fitness in last 30 mins Nugent 5 Absent Vardy 5 Ineffective Dyer 7 Slow start, then started ripping them up; should've had a penalty Wood 5 Lumpenly ineffective; did nothing useful apart from (hopefully) ensure Kasper got his goal Kev 5 One bad miss, generally did little Ref 5 Missed many niggling fouls; didn't allow for time-wasting; should've given Lloyd a pen Yeovil 8 Impressive organisation & commitment; did have a threat on the break; will stay up if they keep playing like that
dannyjpage Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I thought the back 4 were solid today. morgan had miller in his pocket and schlupp has done great since coming into the side. Its always frustrating to concede from a set piece. corner blackburn and free kick today. For me the defense and the goal was the positive today which is great for saturday as feel its vital we stop them scoring.
cjslcfc Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Kasper 8 - Not just the goal but a key save at the start of the second half as well. As I've said in the thread about him: 100% committed. RDL 7 - Mixed but thought he defended well second half and intercepted a lot of their play Morgan 7 - Solid and Miller in his back pocket. Wasyl 5 - Not his best performance Schlupp 8.5 - Though he was class tonight Knocky 8 - Grabbed game by the scruff of the neck in second half when we were chasing it. Was everywhere Drinwater 4 - worst game this season James 4 - See Drinkwater Mahrez 4 - equally awful, sloppy on the ball Nugent 5 - Could have had a goal if not for Wasyl Vardy 5 - Not great Dyer 6 - attacked them with pace! Gave us another attacking threat Phillips 5 - could have scored! Wood 6.5 - Just for following up! So vital
