Coppergill Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Burnley fan in the East Midlands, heard it all from Forest and Derby fans living on former glories over the last few years, in their bickering they've still not noticed Leicester are top. It would be our pleasure to accompany you to the Premiere League where we can exchange gifts of our Black Puddings for some of your finest Stilton Cheese. Just goes to show, what you really need is a good solid, honest to goodness English bruiser as a manager. Big respect for Mr Pearson (he's always got a look in his eye that tells me he knows something extra), but still wouldn't swap him for our man Sean, the man's an alchemist. Good luck for the rest of the season (excepting Saturday of course), the area needs a Premiere League team, and I do believe its found one

I have a question - what is with Sean Dyche's voice? Don't mean that in a derogatory way by the way!
Coppergill Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 That's just his voice for the camera to keep up with his hardman persona.....in private he sounds a little like Kenneth Williams
Father Ted Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I'd be very tempted to play a 5 man midfield here and bring King in for Nugent, to relieve some of the pressure off James and Drinkwater who really looked tired last night. Honestly can't make my mind up, especially as we've played poorly every time we have gone for the 5 man midfield. So I think I'd go for this, with a slightly more attacking hint to it: Schmeichel De Laet Wasyl Morgan Schlupp James Drinkwater Mahrez Knockaert Dyer Vardy Let's really attack Burnley and get at them from the off. We've been positive all season, none of this negative football away from home like last season. Let's continue to be brave and reap the rewards.
Leicester Lass Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 If, if counts for nothing, if I changed my numbers I'd have won the Euros last night. Points on the board is what matters. Looking forward to this game now. I wasn't saying it was going to happen, just shows how quickly things could swing back hugely in our favour if we were to win those games.

Good luck for the rest of the season (excepting Saturday of course), the area needs a Premiere League team, and I do believe its found one I would be more than happy for us both to go up..as I'm sure a lot of people would agree. Decent squad..manager..style of football... I could be describing either of us. Would I be happy with a draw?..yes..but obviously it's all about the win. At the moment..I just want to extend the lead from 3rd until the maths say we're up..then play for the title. I don't think Saturdays game will be goalless..either team will edge it I think. I just want the season over NOW! Hopefully we'll both be partying before May.
Thefoxman Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 No marney and maybe no ings and trippier! 1-3 city if that's the case
Culletonfox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Same team! Longball kept lumping it up in the air and bypassing our midfield all game which we struggle to cope with. Burnley are a decent footballing side and I believe we are the best in the league at that. 1-2 to the mighty Blue Army! Nugent double.
stb1996 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Will be glad to have Vardy's aggression again, as I assume he was trying not to get booked so he could play in this game. I would so much rather him properly go for it against Burnley, possible pick up a booking and serve the suspension than having him walk on a tightrope until whenever the yellow card counter resets

I would so much rather him properly go for it against Burnley, possible pick up a booking and serve the suspension than having him walk on a tightrope until whenever the yellow card counter resets Vardy has got to forget about the booking now. If he gets booked on Saturday he misses Wigan away which, being our game in hand, is basically a freebie and Sheff Wed at home. If they take a similar approach to Yeovil then a different option like GTF might be useful. Anyway, I'm expecting to see a couple of changes on Saturday. I'd like to see King and Dyer back in the team, possibly for James and Mahrez.
foxaholic Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Reckon we'll get something here. Like the QPR game especially, I thought the worst i.e. a loss. The lads got the job done though in the end and came out victorious with all 3 points. And same with Leeds to be honest. It'll be incredibly tight and maybe a bit cautious with a lot at stake - us needing to extend our lead and Burnley wanting to pull even further away from 3rd place. Definitely a bonus that Ings, Trippier, Marney are all out. They've still got very capable players, however. Arfield, Vokes, Mee, Heaton. They should not be underestimated, despite the absentees. I cant believe anybody thought we would lose at Leeds I would say currently and for weeks they are the worst side in the division. To only win 1-0 was poor
Dickov22 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Kasper De Laet Moore Morgan Schlupp Dyer Drinkwater James Knockaert Vardy Nugent That'd be my team
yorkie1999 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 If i were either manager, i would be tapping the other one up for a draw. The last thing either team wants is to be dropping points to third in the table.
ibbosuk Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 3-1 to them. Outplayed like Brighton away. Poor, lazy defending from set pieces costing us. Yes that's my fear, Yeovil was our worst performance of the season, there were warning signs at Blackburn that our form was starting to dip, I will be very very happy if we can pinch a point at Burnley, for if we lose Saturday there will be massive pressure on the Wigan game and the talk of implosion.

StanSP Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Oh great. Cannot stand him. That bloody Forest game still lives long in the memory for the wrong reasons .
