LanguedocFox Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 I've gone for a draw in my accy. 2-2 2-2 would do me, but it's going to be a damn'd close run thing, as Wellington said about the Battle of Waterloo!
ealingfox Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 I actually think I'd be more confident if we had lost to Yeovil, would generate a bigger reaction and the Nigel rocket up their arses would be bigger. I'm very unconfident, I can't see us winning. Burnley never lose, they are now in better form than us and have a meaner defence. It's a good thing we'd both be happy with a point. Having said that - Burnley 1 Leicester 2 (Vokes), (Nugent, Wasilewski)
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 We will win 2-0 tomorrow - bit like that win against Southampton at St Mary's IMO. Think the loss of Marney may hit them more than Ings and Trippier
iancognito Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Probably a draw, 1-1 or 2-2 but we need to stick to the gameplan, not go panicking to a 3-5-2 set up again. And I'd be really tempted to bring Dyer in for Mahrez.
foxfanazer Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Would both teams be happy with a draw? I think I would although we are more than capable of taking all 3 points
MalarkyR Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 The lads seem to be in good spirits ahead of the big game...
Longside_Burnley Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 What's all this talk about playing Derby lads and lasses? Your playing us, Burnley. You've been well worth keeping hold of the top spot so far and have been prolific. We've been industrious, hard working and our fitness levels have been through the roof, I personally think that has been the key to our success. Even though some of you think you might drub us 3-0, I think there is one thing we can say about tomorrow, no one is going to thrash anyone. Even if we go behind tomorrow we'll just come straight back, it's what we do, so a score draw more than likely. Anyways, we're all in for a belter tomorrow, and no doubt a friendly atmosphere from two soon to be promoted sides. Have a good un'! P.S I think the blue T shirt idea is cute.

I don't think anyone really thinks we'll beat you 3-0. Both of our seasons have been close to perfect and I really feel the top 2 is sewn up. Now stop being pests and let us win the title please

Most City fans would take a point right now, me included. In the 2nd half against Blackburn and for the full 90 against Yeovil we were poor, at times awful. I'm just hoping we get back to our best tomorrow. What is the general consensus of Burnley fans? Take a point or expect 3?
yorkie1999 Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Is Knocky predicting the score? No he's predicting Victoire victoire
Tom's Pasta Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Will be decided on a mistake or a refereeing decision. These big games are always close and so it's the small margins which will make the difference. If we don't do anything silly I think we'll get at least a point.

The consensus so far from us is just ecstatic to be up there with you, as cheesy as that sounds. It was only after your draw with Yeovil that we've thought oh wait a minute there's only three points between us now, so we are cheekily getting confident, but we all know how quickly that can change. I personally would not want to take any result before the game because anything can happen, 3 points unbelievable, 1 point fair enough and a loss would be make sure we get back on track quick.
MC Prussian Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 No he's predicting Victoire victoire Excuse me, but it's clearly a hint at this song:

Cotts Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Even a draw tomorrow is a great result, win our game in hand and we go 6 points clear with 7 games to play. If we win the title is almost ours. They need the win much more than us if there going to overtake! So we can soak up the pressure and play some counter attacking football, it could suit us! Baffles me how people are stressing so much, worse comes to worse we get hammered tomorrow, totally collapse and then.... Still finish 2nd, which results in a huge celebration! Relax and enjoy being a football fan for once!!

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for 3 points We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for 3 points We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for 3 points If being champions iz worth fighting for
DanTheFox07 Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 We played well at QPR and nicked it, expect us to do similar here, Nigel will make us hard to break down and get them on the counter attack, expect dyer to be back in the starting line up?
demon_dog Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 There could be goals, there should be goals. Expecting a good hard fought game with both sides showing what the title race is all about. Saying that I'll go for a draw 0 - 0 Hopefully Burnley and us soon to have a 'P' against our names.
