Happy Fox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Last time we drew 2 games on the spin we won the next four same again please! I think the players had an eye on Saturday, yesterday and who can blame them it is a big game.
LanguedocFox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I'm quite enjoying this mutual respect between the two sides/fans. We normally hate promotion rivals. Obviously it will all disappear on Friday night but I'll be delighted when you go up (in 2nd). Dyche is a great manager and a top bloke, just like Pearson. I didn't get to hear the match last night, but from the sound of it we were not very good. However, we do seem to raise our game in big matches, so hopefully it will be a wake-up call. Incidentally, the Burnley match is Friday lunchtime, Lionator - or are you assuming hostilities will get going early!
Leicester Lass Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 If we win our next 3 games we'll be 12 points ahead of Burnley having only played 1 game more.
Crinklyfox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 NP won't be happy after the Yeovil result, I expect him to do whatever is necessary to improve the performance. Burnley will be tough, they are a good side with a good manager and I'll be happy with a point.
Buzzell Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Top of the table clash, the two best teams in the league, I'm going for 1-1 Hope we get the three points though. COYB!
foxfanazer Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 We need to stamp our style on this game early and show that we are not going to just hamd them the title. Need to improve drastically from last night but I'm confident this team can do that. Let's not forget how good we've been this season
LCCFox96 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 This game really is the perverbial 6 pointer. It's massivein terms of the title - anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves. We need to really step up from last night. I think most of us can be confident in saying last night was a blip and we probably won't play that bad again. They'll be gunning for us though and I'd take any points we can get up there. We can't let our grip on this lead slip or allow the likes of QPR to close us down from 3rd (don't think they will but us dropping points will give them a boost). The gap has been cut from 17 points to 13 points in two games so we could do with picking up the pace again now. Just to think though a potential best case scenario is 2 wins and 6/6 from Burnley and Wigan. That would put us 9 points clear again. Biggest two games of the season coming up. We really need to capitalise.

Incidentally, the Burnley match is Saturday lunchtime, Languedoc, a few hours are mutual respect is suspended on Friday night - or are you assuming that the match is being played 24 hours early in front of an empty stadium (maybe because we've been handed a spectator ban for being a bunch of preposterous moaners)? Go on then! What have I cocked up now!
mrmagoomc4 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 prob players had burnley in there minds its a big game i expect i bigger and better performance from the lads
weller54 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Think we'll get beat I'm afraid.. Burnley are on fire, they would have creamed Yeovil last night ..
Happy Fox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Really need to dig deep in this game, can see them dominating the game but we will get the odd chance or two and we have to take them, as well as being resolute at the back we can do this! Come on City
reynard Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 if we turn up and play like last night then it will be stroll in the park and an easy 2-0 or 3-0 win for Burnley. If however, we play like we did against Derby we have a chance. Personally I'd take a draw now. We are beginning to exhibit the signs of a team that has run out of energy and ideas.
Ric Flair Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 If ever we needed a David Nugent goal against one of the clubs he always scores against it's on Saturday. I think he'll deliver, it's what he does. He's also been dog muck for a few weeks now and it's when he receives stick that he proves us wrong. Come on Nuge, bring it home.

If we play like we did against Derby then we'll absolutely murder them, i'd challenge any team outside the top ten in the Prem to handle us in that form. Relentless
Happy Fox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I would play King in this game for James, and Dyer for Mahrez, apart from that, keep the team the same.
KFS Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 If changes were made, it should've been last night. Dyche will watch how Yeovil played against us and get his players to do the same. Therefore, having Vardy and Drinkwater without a rest will offer no surprise factor. Having said that, I can see us coming out and dominating for some reason.
Jon the Hat Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 It would be very us to struggle last night and win on Saturday.
StanSP Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 If changes were made, it should've been last night. Dyche will watch how Yeovil played against us and get his players to do the same. Therefore, having Vardy and Drinkwater without a rest will offer no surprise factor. Having said that, I can see us coming out and dominating for some reason. I'm not sure Dyche will do that. Burnley won't go against their own grain and lump balls up to Miller consistently. One thing they might do is get players to close down our players extremely quickly. That's hard for any team to do so Yeovil deserve credit for that for doing it all game, but I think when you're the home team you shouldn't be setting up defensively. I think Burnley are no different and will want to impose themselves on the game as quickly as possible, much like we will endeavour to. It would be very us to struggle last night and win on Saturday. That's what I keep thinking too. We'll probably give the best performance all season on Saturday and come away victorious! Rendering last night just a little tiny bump in the road.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 We've drawn two games and we got stifled by a team who's game plan was to stop us playing, we had 30 shots on goal last night, it was nothing more than bad luck, we'll at least get a point on Saturday,
XLM Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I remember when QPR were in the in form team... beat them Also remember when Derby were in great form... destroyed them Now we play one of the most important games of our season, against another side in great form. I'm confident Nigel knows how to beat them. And I think we can and will do so. Won't be easy, but we're more than capable.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I really cant predict what will happen Saturday but i do know we shouldnt fear Burnley. They have done remarkably well and credit to them but there's absolutely no reason we cant go there and win, we do need to be more clinical. I'd give De Laet and James a rest, time for King to come in
DennisNedry Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Anybody who doesn't fear Burnley needs a reality check, they are a very strong side, especially at Home. If we play like we did in the last 2 games we will be well beaten, but if we play to our best then we have enough to beat any team in the league. I'd take a point right now.
kingcarr21 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 No reason why we should be worried. Play our own game and im confident we can get the 3 points. Both teams in great unbeaten form, this game has a draw written all over it which im sure every leicester fan would be more than happy with. But i reckon we will beat them and cement our place at the top
