If any new chants are being sung can they get posted in here prior to the game? I'm happy to provide vocals if I know whats being sung  :thumbup: 

Surprised Kasper hasn't got one, even a shout of Denmarks number one wouldn't go a miss when he's between the sticks at our end.

Ring of Fire doesn't last long enough compared to how we used to be in L1 just need to carry it on and people will pick up on the effort and rejoin.

Always shit on the red side of the trent needs an airing too.

I had no idea what tune the Albrighton one was too but now I feel a div lol

I know one bloke who was in there wasn't a fan of it.

There's one bloke in there (not sure if it's the same one) a row or two behind you who seems to be saying 'shit song' every 5 mins no matter what we're singing. Not sure what he's doing in there to be fair as he clearly prefers silence.

A bit trial and error with some songs, but imagine a fair few would be creaming themselves if say Man United or Palace had sung some songs first.

 

Not all original suggestions are good or workable but showing faith in a few could pay dividends. Particularly think Treat has a lot of potential, more seemed to get involved with it against Everton than against Arsenal though?

 

Agree. Ticks all the boxes: Bit of local pride using a Kasabian song, nod to our history with Filbert Street, it's catchy, original & simple enough so people should be able to learn the words quickly.

 

Think you're right about more people joining in with it at the Everton game than against Arsenal though. Strange. In hindsight, I was a bit surprised how well it went down against Everton considering most people wouldn't ever have heard it before.

 

Where did it even come from? Did it get started on the walk down to the ground first game? Seemed to come out of nowhere...

But I agree we need a song for

Kasper

De Laet

Morgan

Wasyl

Konch

James

Hammond

Wood

Then maybe even better ones for Albrighton, Schlupp and Cambiasso

Just getting a good song for each of these would get more variety of chants going.

Out of the that list the only one that doesn't have an associated chant is RDL, everyone one else does. Granted some are shite.

 

Magic, you know for Cambiasso got aired in L1 along with 'I love you baby'.

Happy with Morgan inheriting Bamba's old one and Konch having "Paul Konchesky is a blue".

 

As far as I'm aware Hammond and De Laet are the only current players without their own.

Loads have been thought of for De Laet but for some reason none of them ever get sung I cam up with a couple myself (obviously  they were shit) and the pink panther tune was another.

I don't think it really needed slowing down after the first attempt, it's the clapping that brings it down IMO.

NB; Big fan of the Ulloa chant, had it in my head for all of Sunday after the game. 

 

NBB; Mahrez chant (Zombie Nation) got seriously fast, needs to be kept slower because it could be such a good chant at the right pace.

This is a great chant!

 

Shame it's been difficult to get it to take off so far but, again, sung at the right pace by a decent number of people and it could catch on.

 

Think people may find it difficult to remember the order of the lager, cider bitter etc though...

 

Would be great to have more songs like this in our songbook to add a bit of variety rather than the same old recycled chants.
