LCFC1996 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Only 21, Swiss international, decent goal scoring record
Fifties Blue Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 MSN news has him off to Arsenal http://news.uk.msn.com/comment-and-analysis/articles?cp-documentid=260201825
AKCJ Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Lets hope that if we are going to sign him that we do before the World Cup because if he has a decent one then his price will rocket.

MC Prussian Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Lets hope that if we are going to sign him that we do before the World Cup because if he has a decent one then his price will rocket. Depends on whether he'll make the cut or not - the Swiss World Cup squad will be announced on the 13th of May.
AKCJ Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Depends on whether he'll make the cut or not - the Swiss World Cup squad will be announced on the 13th of May. I imagine he will, won't he? Scored twice against Croatia which is not shabby at all. Have you seen enough of him?
Nick Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I'm going to need a youtube video before being behind a four million investment - a minute and a half compilation of his goals should be enough..............
MC Prussian Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I imagine he will, won't he? Scored twice against Croatia which is not shabby at all. Have you seen enough of him? He's an up-and-coming striker who's finally found his feet in the Bundesliga this season. The jury's still out on him whether he can maintain that form or not. However, I doubt we'll buy a striker out of a contract that is currently running until 2017.
ScouseFox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 prem money or not it doesn't seem very nige to splash 4m on a youngster. if it was 400k on a young foreigner we'd been watching for a year then maybe. seems a bit pricey but maybe a sign of things to come now we are mounting a premier league title challenge, not a championship one.
RowlattsFox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Don't keep up with European football so never heard of him. What type of striker is he?
Finnegan Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Wouldn't surprise me at all. Players like this are always linked by the tabloids to massive clubs, all it actually means is a known scout has been seen watching him once or twice. He's had a decent enough season, he has a release clause, his agent is obviously on it. He'll probably wind up at a lower half Prem club or a slightly bigger Bundesliga side.
Captain... But Nige now has a transfer kitty probably 10 times what he is used to, what he did before was partly dictated by available funds. If we do spend 4 million on a player, that is about 7% of the 63million we are guaranteed for finishing bottom in the Prem.
Happy Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 If he wants guaranteed first team football in the prem and he most likely will get that at a club of our stature I don't profess to knowing anything about him but to score 16 goals in the Bundesliga at a relegation threatened outfit is no meant feet.
Finnegan Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I'm pretty sure that if Walsh says to Pearson "spend 10m on this guy, he's the next Yaya/Drogba/Zidane" then Pearson will spend 10m on a player.
little Brian Posted 6 April 2014 Author Posted 6 April 2014 id trust Walsh every time on talent , he has done a sensational job at Leicester
