johnny the fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 5 posters assuming it's drugs related - based on what? Her mum was a drug addict, so she must be as well? ****ing hell. If my mum died of a drug overdose, then I can guarentee I wouldn't even ****ing touch them. The police said there were no suspicious circumstances.. that rules out falls... or any major injury. .cause that could not be stated before a post mortem... if its natural causes, that would be incredibly rare for a young fit 25 year old. there may be a note left. but thinking drugs is not really going out on a limb is it?
Parafox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 When in history has a 25 year old died from falling over in the house? It's happened, I know. Stairs were involved in the case i attended. 21years old. No he wasn't drunk. A simple but tragic fall.

Are you a paramedic, then, Parafox? All these years, I'd been assuming that you were an ex-Paratrooper! Maybe I've still got it wrong....maybe you're a paralytic, paraplegic Paraguayan paraffin-salesman with a parakeet and an interest in the paranormal?

Well that would rule out drugs then wouldn't it? Just think it's a bit rich that people on here are jumping to the conclusion that she's OD'd when there's been no evidence of her being a drug user since her teens.

Alf Bentley Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Never had anything to do with paraffin. Well, if you are a paramedic, I was grateful for the services of your profession about 3-4 years ago, when I fell down the stairs at 2am and broke my arm.....and I wasn't drunk, either. In fact, I suspect that if I had been drunk, I probably wouldn't have broken my arm!
Guest MattP Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Let's have one more chorus: "Enjoy yourself! It's later than you think..." It certainly is, hit me again today with another childroom friend having died last week, from my Year 11 class that's about half gone now, can't be many worse records than that in England. There's a difference between experimenting a bit as a teenager and being a full-on Pete Doherty or Amy Winehouse. When you have moved onto heroin though it's a bit different to "experiementing", I know loads of people who have dabbled a bit and none and gone onto that sort of shit. I agree suicide seems fairly likely given the last picture she tweeted etc, but you can't blame people for jumping to conclusions about drugs when a supposedly healthy 25 year old who has admitted to heroin use suddenly drops dead for no apparant reason. About three years ago when someone I know dropped dead with a brain aneurysm... It can happen. Clearly the girl has a history of drug abuse and my first thought was drugs because of that, doesn't mean that's definitely the case. If Para says he's seen it happen who am I to question it? How you can die from falling over around the house though with no evidence to suggest it happened baffles me a bit though. I remember reading about a girl who died actually falling into an open dishwater from blood loss.

Even assuming a slight exaggeration, that's shocking, Matt. Mind you, I've no idea how many of my cohort have gone. Certainly, at least 3 had gone by my mid-20s, but I lost contact with the area that I grew up in after that. You're welcome. I trust our service was up to expectations. The service was extremely welcome, seeing as my arm was hanging off! I snapped my humerus (upper arm bone) clean in two and could feel the two halves grinding against one another....not a humorous experience!

MC Prussian Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Looking past the tragedy, I find it probably as horrific the way the press are covering this so far. I think they're reaching a new all-time low with all the speculation.

It's not, we went through the Year 9 photo a few years back, it was 11 out of 23 gone then, so it's officially now "more than half" - It didn't help meningitus killed two and one went in a Motorbike crash at school, but it's a shocking statistic for a class who are now only 30/31 still.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Because she has been in the spotlight since she was born due to being a family member of one of the country's greatest musicians? Don't ever call Bob Gledoff that again Mike or I will actually slap you next time I see you.

Did you bully any teachers who were perhaps into voodoo?

That must be close to some sort of record. Just an extraordinary coincidence, I assume, as I presume that the catchment area was decent enough (i.e. not a heroin-infested Glasgow sink estate).... Yet my Dad grew up in a very poor, rural community in the west of Ireland, with TB rife, and 7 out of 8 of his family made it past 85. Death, life....weird stuff. Incidentally, the Mirror seems to have spoken to local police sources who reckon Peaches died of undetermined natural causes, not drugs or suicide...though that may yet prove to be bollocks.

A few of us have had this conversation from school many times, it's an incredible amount for such a sample size in such a short space of time, we did think of trying to find it out in some way but it's not something everyone would want bringing back or investigating I don't think. It's weird to see on your Facebook page as well, I've got about ten people on who are dead and more than a handful of them are from school.

Which county in Ireland? I've been known to fall over in Westport Co Mayo a few times.

johnny the fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 So just to make it clear for us; what are you insinuating? OD'd makes it sound like she was a junky who was taking recreational drugs and over did it.. .she might of been depressed and committed suicide by sleeping pills etc.. they are still drugs.. any kind injury on the body and the police would not of committed to "no suspicious circumstances" till after the post mortem.
Alf Bentley Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Which county in Ireland? I've been known to fall over in Westport Co Mayo a few times. Kerry, so SW rather than West, I suppose.

I also used to work with a young woman, probably in her 20s, who died by falling down the stairs in her home. As you say, it happens.
