frotto Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Amateur thread. Amateur performance. Amateur eastfox. Go to work.
Brooksy Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Shite performance but the atmosphere was class in SK1 near the end. We'll still win the league.
Harry - LCFC Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Lets start on the fans - I am convinced even places like Reading, Watford & Coventry would've been louder than that in our position. What the **** was that all about? Not a peep from the vast majority until we'd gone 4 down and loads had ****ed off. What does it actually take these people to make any noise? That was truly embarrassing. HOWEVER. The last 10 minutes were excellent and those involved, kudos to all. Lets get the Kop like that for 90 minutes every single game - then we would have the best home support in England and I'm serious. What amazed me was that we had almost a full block standing up. That really blew me away tbh. Definitely agree about the atmosphere. So, so bad for most of the game but a brilliant last ten. Loved the '4-0 down' chant, just kept going and going.

People should have been that care free and proud throughout the match. The last 10 minutes were all about enjoyment. That's why I go to the football and frankly I care little about the result because of it.

So, so bad for most of the game but a brilliant last ten. Loved the '4-0 down' chant, just kept going and going. It was really weird. The last 10 minutes was how it should've been all game. I'm not one bit happy with tonight and it's not even the performance or the run going that's pissed me off - and lets be honest, that loss has been coming.
Larry_LCFC Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 I think up to 3-0 people were shocked and appalled by the performance. Once it gets to 4 you can either laugh about it or cry about it. Tonight we chose to laugh - no doubt because of our position in the league. Was an awesome last 10 mins in the crowd though.
Grandad. Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Some people will certainly disagree with me here but I really don't think Liam Moore will make it, tonight he was very poor, yeah he was playing out of position as such but I'm to be convinced. Missed Vardy massively tonight.

Grandad. Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 So every game this season when he was brilliant doesn't matter ? Like I've said I haven't seen him much but when I have, I am yet to be convinced.

Missed Vardy massively tonight. Agree vardys pace was a big miss, but I will disagree on Moore, I think he's not a right back, but a solid centre half, and Richie was a massive miss at right back tonight
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 We missed James in midfield, shouldn't of started with Phillips up front either as he is an impact player We missed De Laet at right back (Moore is better in the middle) The whole team looked disjointed today Oh well onwards and upwards We Are Going Up!!!

Shame it was infront of a sellout crowd. Now who's fault is that...... BOB
Larry_LCFC Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Found a vid on youtube of the last few minutes. Although the lads voice is quite annoying https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfGyFplCKCg

Leicesterpool Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 I don't think people should moan about others leaving a game early especially for a midweek game, many leave early so they can beat the traffic, catch a train or a bus. Night games can be difficult to get at times. I did hear in the phone in, some guy called in saying he left the game earlier with his two kids because they had school in the morning and he didn't want them getting home too late and stuck in traffic as he was leaving he got mouth full of abuse from his own supporters! I mean what's that all about?! People must remember some have lives outside football.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 £160+ for two VIP packages (treated my mum, for her birthday, and daughter, I was there but working) - meal in Fusions restaurant + tickets. Not the best game obviously but they had a good time, result apart. They see the bigger picture. My wallet is crying though Anyway, move on, next...

I very much doubt it and if you believe for one moment he conveniently had to get the kids home as the third of fourth goal went in then you're very gullible.

No coincidence and pretty shocking considering we're up and it was supposed to be a game of celebration. It surprises me so many people were bothered about losing tonight.

Missed Vardy massively tonight. I don't think it was a game to pick out individuals, as literally nobody played well. However, i'd agree in general that Moore is overrated by our fans. He had a solid run of form at CB, and did look promising, but bad positioning even before his injury led to him causing some goals against us. He is good, and i think he will be fantastic but he needs to keep working hard and learning from Marcin and Wes. He is far from the finished article, and we as fans shouldn't overrate him so much as it puts unnecessary expectations on him. I was disappointed in King tonight aswell. He has barely had a look in this season, he gets given a chance and you would expect him to take the game by the bollocks and displace James, but he didn't. Again though, it's hard to criticise indiviual performances tonight as we were poor as a team.

How many times have you seen him this year to pass that judgment? Ridiculous comment.

When that third went in the party was over! Tonight was just a celebration in gaining promotion, they'll be an even bigger celebration when we win the league. I'm of course thrilled Leicester are up but i was disappointed in the display tonight, i wasn't expecting a win anyway but i didn't expect us to get hammered either!

They have lives to lead outside of watching a game of football
