It's annoying losing the unbeaten streak so cheaply.Can't wait for Vardy to be back. We need to be running over the finish line, not ****ing limping.

Babylon Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Really Glad to hear that. The Yeovil game rally annoyed me because our 'fans' were so negative and quick to get on the players back. Perhaps that was down to nerves and we just wanted promotion confirmed.Thought the fans were utter gubbins until being spurred into action by the fourth goal and thousands buggering off.Knew the result would happen, called it and put money on it. You can't be out on the lash celebrating Saturday and be at it on Tuesday. Time for them all to refocus and for Nigel to pick his fittest strongest team, and not be concerned with giving people a run out if that is what today was. We've been poor since Blackburn and it has been masked with some special goals. Fingers crossed vardy is fit soon as we miss his energy and running up top.

Can't complain we were shit throughout the side, Brighton played well, and Pearson has a bigger picture about who and what we need to compete next season. 4-1 down who gives a **** we're leicester boys and we are already up. Looked off the pace, uninterested and like chasing the ball down was just too much effort. Really was some of the worst defending i've seen all season. Extremely unhappy with the players tonight because there is no excuse whatsoever to put that level of performance in. Having said that, we are promoted and we have a brilliant team. Let's take it as a kick up the arse and a wake up call. Dust ourselves down, get behind the boys and move on to the next one. Really hope Vardy is back!

There's still a title to try and win and Burnley aren't going away just because we have the P next to our name. Can't quite fathom why people don't care. Will you still not care if we lost the next two, the one after that and the one after that? We're up and it's fantastic, but a performance of that low level should not (and will not by NP) be accepted, whatever the scenario.

One game don't define a career just because we had a bad game because we were hungover don't change anything, we can still win the title correct. Stop moaning for pete sake. 1 loss in 22 games and suddenly half the payers should be dropped for the next game. What was the target this season. To gain promotion to the Premier League. Have we done that, yes so calm down, keep the faith in the team. This is a wake up call if anything really that we cannot get complacent going into the games. The club will analyse what has gone wrong tonight and make sure that the next match we correct are wrongs. Did anyone not watch the insight into us on Late Kick-Off last night they have a whole team of people showing the players what they did in the match right and wrong. Maybe Pearson made a few changes today and they did not work, but if the player is good enough in Pearson's eyes then he is good enough for me.

I know that achieving promotion must be an unbelievable feeling as a player, but I'd like to think that taking the title is the FULL goal now and perhaps Pearson could have kept the lads grounded at the weekend and told them that despite achieving promotion, there is still an important job to do and that the serious celebrations (getting totally shit-faced, drinking champagne at training) can wait until that has been achieved. BUT... hey ho, we're all human so whatever... Just a real shame that it put a downer on a night that everyone expected to be a real party - would have really been quite something if we'd have won 4-1 instead! Anyway, all good! Enjoyed the game (weirdly), enjoyed the last 10 minutes of atmosphere and the company I was with! Up the Foxes!

Leicesterpool Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 OMG where did that come from? Tonights performance was like a groom going to a wedding drunk! Well it was a freak result and performance, it simply came out of nowhere. Pre Match i did feel we'd probably lose but a very narrow close thought game, not be outclassed by a team that are currently 7th! I don't think you have to be a doctor to work out most of them players, clearly have had a couple of days of an drinking session and now there getting the hang over affect, but of course I cannot take away anything from Brighton's good performance, as they were very good! It's been a great season and we're promoted but we've still got five games to go and the job still isn't done, I won't be surprised if Nigel calls them in early tomorrow. We need to get these players back on the ground as soon as possible, save the party till after Doncaster. Also what on earth went on during the moan in tonight! Even Alan Young got some stick from someone! Anyway we lost 1-4 who cares!?

Then again, we all have blips. 21 unbeaten is phenomenal and they're a cracking bunch. Just as long as they don't repeat that and allow Burnley to take the title. However tonight, I am absolutely ****ing fuming at what went on. Lets start on the fans - I am convinced even places like Reading, Watford & Coventry would've been louder than that in our position. What the **** was that all about? Not a peep from the vast majority until we'd gone 4 down and loads had ****ed off. What does it actually take these people to make any noise? That was truly embarrassing. HOWEVER. The last 10 minutes were excellent and those involved, kudos to all. Lets get the Kop like that for 90 minutes every single game - then we would have the best home support in England and I'm serious. The club/police - Sort your ****ing priorities out. Pardon us for wanting to actually enjoy the end of our longest EVER spell outside of the top flight. I knew it was coming when I saw police dotted all over the place before the game. One of them claimed they were there because of a 'bigger crowd' but I wasn't fooled. Knew it would happen and I'm absolutely pissed off by the number of killjoys who pollute this great club. The game itself did about enough to dispel a potential pitch invasion but that doesn't really change it - the measures were a ****ing joke. Were THAT many police really required? I really am ****ed off and it's not even the result that's done it. It's the mentality of this club. I am thoroughly sick of them doing anything they can to dilute the atmosphere and the special moments.

Despite what he says, we did obviously not prepare for tonight in the same way as we have done all season. For starters, we saw the pictures from the training session yesterday. I think Nigel wanted them to enjoy the moment, and gave them too much leeway, thinking we'd get away with it. That wasn't just a promotion hangover, that was an actual 3 day hangover. Like the one I had on Sunday. It's very disappointing to lose our unbeaten run and our chance to break a Championship points record and club record in that manner. Real shame. On the upside, what it should do is remind the players that you cannot take your foot off the gas in this league. Their pride will have suffered tonight and it won't be a nice feeling. It should be the kick up the backside to spur them on against Reading, where we'll want a reaction. After all, the title still needs winning, and some of them may be playing for a contract.

Everything you have said I agree with... a title is still up for grabs and we should have prepared for this game right after the win on Friday.
