Play like that at Reading and it will be a blood bath. Nothing less than a win and a good performance will do there. Players playing for their futures. Pearson can forget this loyalty nonsense. We fook it up in the premier league and he'll be out at christmas.

Can you imagine Konchesky playing in the premier league?

Reading aren't great at the moment.

Konchesky in the premier worries more.

I'm sorry but tonight was totally unprofessional. How many teams who are champions getting beaten like that at home? Unfair on other teams in the league and more importantly the 29k who turned up. Like an earlier poster said so glad I decided against a 200 mile round trip to see it. Hope I'm wrong but a good chance Burnley will be level on points by the time we play QPR at home.

once you get your fixtures for next season and see games vs man utd, arsenal , liverpool,  everton, chelski and man city this result will be forgotten , cheer up for gods sake, 20 odd games unbeaten the players deserve a bit of credit and be forgiven for 1 bad performance :)

Its funny how the teams taking so much stick tonight after securing promotion yet when St Ledger went out and got pissed at the races a few days before the FA Cup quarter final it was ok because he's a professional athlete who can run it off and is Irish

Message for "Luke" on the moan in,

If you are a member of this forum.

You sir, Are a ****. I'd much rather you supported ANYONE but us.

EDIT: You are not as big a Tosser as the bloke who phoned in after.

Absolutely embarrassing.

It'd leave a bitter taste in the mouth if Burnley snatched the title away from us!

The fans weren't good either... yes they were loud 10 minutes from the end... but for the previous 80 minutes it was silence. It's hard to be loud when watching such an awful performance.

I'm genuinely shocked by the reaction on the radio and the reaction on here ..... For goodness sake 22 games and we lost one finally, after we're promoted with 6 games to go.

Wes on the phone in, "Has Youngy been on the Buckfast?" lol

Radio Leicester, "Goodbye Wes."

Not sure what was said beforehand, weren't really listening.

Buckfast, it gets yer ****** fast.

Gutted we lost our unbeaten run, irrelevant compared to promotion, but it still hurts. By the sounds of it we were shit which makes it doubly disappointing. If we give it our all and get beaten by a better side on the night, then fair enough but to just not turn up with the championship still to play for is very disappointing.

Games like this can often happen after the goal has been achieved. What's the phrase? After The Lord Mayor's show?

God knows what the Forum will be like next season if we are getting smashed.

Tonight I thought we'd draw and wasn't expecting such a drubbing. But it really don't matter. In fact it was probably needed to get some sense of reality back. Expect a better performance next match and to finish as Champions.

Some of the callers on the post-match commentary tonight. Have a word. Truly shambolic behaviour from so-called "fans", especially for getting personal with commentators.

Are you talking about the atmosphere based on the radio? Radio leicester turn the crowd sound up and down during the game depending on importance of the commentary at the time so It would be rather bias to base your judgment of the crowd on radio Leicester.

Shame about a poor result happening at this point in the season, but I was half expecting it after the weekends celebrations. More worrying for me though, was the reported amount of police turning up at the end of the game. They are not going to let us have a promotion party are they?

I can forgive them a crap night after the effort that has gone into this season. But only one. The PL campaign is now under way. We have 5 games to start getting out act together. Five pre pre-season 'friendlies'. Couldn't give a monkeys about a title. Care passionately about us being ready for next season. Despite the undoubted turnover in personnel that will happen, there Are 5 more games to improve our chances of surviving the baptism of fire that awaits. I'd like to think every decision and team selection is geared towards that aim. NP will know why he selected some people tonight. Have to trust him on that one. However hard to fathom.

Jason Bourne is coming across really badly tonight though IMO. He's being too opinionated for a broadcaster. He's reading out selected messages in a smug way to get his point across and talks down to callers like a right ****. He reminds me of an unfunny Alan Partridge.

Yeah but its not very professional is it?

To make everyone take notice of us would be to finish the job off. Not get battered at home at our money shot moment.

Agreed. No reason for personal comments directed at Youngy.

That must have been some weekend. They do deserve to enjoy their moment, but they're professionals and tonight was not at all professional.

Lot of people paid good money to see that and were let down. It's a real shame.

But sod it, we're up. Two more wins should sort the league.
