Don't know if it's been said earlier, so apologies if it has, but in 2008 we went to WBA who were walking the league, we were near the bottom and hey ho we won 4 - 1 (A Steve Howard hat trick as well). These things happen occasionally and I don't think it will affect us too much - infact I think it will give us an added incentive to win the title.

I don't think it was a game to pick out individuals, as literally nobody played well.

However, i'd agree in general that Moore is overrated by our fans. He had a solid run of form at CB, and did look promising, but bad positioning even before his injury led to him causing some goals against us.

He is good, and i think he will be fantastic but he needs to keep working hard and learning from Marcin and Wes. He is far from the finished article, and we as fans shouldn't overrate him so much as it puts unnecessary expectations on him.

I was disappointed in King tonight aswell. He has barely had a look in this season, he gets given a chance and you would expect him to take the game by the bollocks and displace James, but he didn't.

Again though, it's hard to criticise indiviual performances tonight as we were poor as a team.

I disagree totally. Moore has been great this season and I think he's already a better player than Wasilewski. If you think Moore learnt from Wasilewski and Morgan last night then I'm worried what he learnt! How not to defend set pieces? How to not deal with balls in the air (Wasilewski first half), how to commit late nasty challenges (Wasilewski second half). Both were very poor last night.

Moore has a great future ahead of him. He's just not a full back.

The performance was atrocious from the players, but you want to know something ? I don't care.

The day trippers were out in force and probably will be all next season, but you want to know something ? I don't care.

People leaving at 3-0 and then 4-0, but you want to know something ? I don't care.

Last night wasn't about the result, it wasn't about the day trippers and it wasn't about people leaving for whatever reasons.

It was about saying thank you and enjoying the night, it's been a long 10 years. Yes it would have been nice to win, but we're going to turn out a performance like that now and again. It doesn't matter, WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE !

Hats off to the lads in SK1 tonight, it was non-stop throughout the game, even if it only was about 30

of us at times.

The last 10 minutes were spine tingling, if we could replicate that atmosphere week in week out, we would have one of the best atmospheres in the world. We proved last night we can do it, let's push on eh ?

Massive disappointment to lose of course but lets put it into perspective, 1st defeat in 22 games, its not too bad!

 

Its fair to say our pace has been key at times so missing Vardy, Schlupp and De Laet doesnt help.

On last nights showing we cant really put Liam Moore at full back too often, his future is clearly at CB.

I was pissed off with that on so many levels. Personally it was an effort for me to get there and had to get up fairly early this morning to make a meeting for work (just finished).

Disappointed that the players didn't have more pride in their own unbeaten run and the opportunity to be champions. I don't think Nige helped either in all honesty.

The woodwork fans - all of sudden we've got 3k more because we are promoted rather than top? Then the decision by many fans to completely alienate these fans by singing 'cheerio' etc to them.

Then to top it off, the own goal of using riot police to stop a pitch invasion. You would expect that for the Belgrade derby, not Leicester winning promotion. I really hope every fan fcuks off when the club have this silly end of season thing they are planning.

Some people will certainly disagree with me here but I really don't think Liam Moore will make it, tonight he was very poor, yeah he was playing out of position as such but I'm to be convinced.

Liam Moore could become a top player, but last night he was an absolute disgrace. We can put it down to immature excitement as a Leicester player and fan, but if he is going to 'make it' he will need to become far more professional.

I like the lad, his passion and commitment, but to play with a probable hangover after three nights partying in front of nearly 30,000 fans who wanted to party as well does make me wonder about him!

Wasyl has been pretty good for us generally when played at centre half, but you could see the red mist visibly descending yesterday and this affected his display (desperately charging through the striker to try and win the ball, but misjudging it to set them through on at least 2 occasions)..

 

Agree massively that Kasper doesn't help from set pieces, I can't remember the last time he claimed a corner/free kick which wasn't stuck directly under his crossbar....

 

Defending crosses/set pieces will obviously need to be improved, and it's about the only area we've stagnated in or even regressed. The ability to be solid when facing, and a danger when attacking set pieces will be worth a significant amount of points next year and we won't get away with it like we have this..

I wouldn't say he isn't good enough, but he's definitely prone to a silly error. How the bloke avoids red cards is beyond me.

 

Our set pieces are absolutely pathetic. It's weird because other than that we're a quality side (with the exception of last night) but we are so un-threatening at attacking them (I've seen teams forcing us into corners when defending us) and even more laughable at defending them. It's a glaring weakness and it's obvious why - we do not have a single dominant player in the air in the whole squad.

Ok, so professional or not, I think we accept that it was the clear the players had a massive hangover and I doubt Pearson will let it happen again until the season is done.

That said, Pearson didn't help himself, can't see any reason schlupp would be in need of a rest (bar a massive hangover), for me if you play King it needs to be with the more physical James and a 40 year old starting the game, not a chance, he's an impact player, likely to get a half chance in the last 10mins if you need a goal. Madness to start him.

But it's done now, this has been a great season, whatever happens, ok our party was spoiled, the game may have been, in part, to blame, but why did it take 80 mins for everyone to just enjoy what has already been achieved.

On the side issue of corners etc, not sure why we can't defend them, but at the other end it is blindingly obvious that we are unlikely to score from them, when we send Wes and Was to stand still inside the six yard box.

Our centre halves should be stood on the edge of the box waiting to run in and meet the delivery with pace and power, see liam moore v wigan, I'd reckon a video of walshy, elliott and taggart should be enough to fix this.

Bad day at the office last night but even the best sides lose every now and again, although that performance was abysmal. Not too concerned however as I'd like to think that performance was just due to players being a bit hungover from the confirmed promotion. Repeat of that against Reading and I will probably start to get quite concerned mind you!

Pretty upset and very frustrated after last night. We were absolutely shocking. Moore and Morgan looked Sunday League at best, Drinkwater didn't seem to know what sport we were playing, Knockaert failed with literally everything he tried, I didn't realise Phillips had started until around the 40-minute mark.

 

Thoroughly unprofessional and embarrassing. We don't get our money back, or compensation, so the players should not get any leniency. I hope Nige took them apart after that. The lack of competence was painful but the lack of effort was twice as painful. Going to Reading and if they do that again, well I will be leaving at half-time.

 

 

Credit where its due I guess, Brighton looked a very good outfit, and I really do wonder why they are so low down the table. Based on last night they should be pushing for 3rd or 4th at least. They have played us off the park in both our games, and we've pissed the league. Ruthlessly took their chances and had us totally shackled tactically. They must be very different against all the other sides in the Championship. Brighton fans were good considering the small number of them, I hope they had a great evening as it would be a good reward for coming.

Completely agree. IMO Moore and Schlupp are two of the players I think will make the step up really well.

Better than some of the others I would suggest.
