queensguardfox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Recently-promoted Leicester City are set to make a move for Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha in the summer. According to Football Direct News, Nigel Pearson is weighing up a bid for the England international, in an attempt to bolster their squad for life in the Premier League. The 21-year-old winger has found playing time hard to get and has struggled to make an impact in the top-flight of English football. Zaha could be off to the King Power Stadium in the summer Zaha, who is currently on-loan at Cardiff City is unhappy at Manchester United could force a move away from Old Trafford in the summer. The Foxes secured promotion to the Premier League last weekend, and return to the top-flight for the first time since 2003/04, and Zaha is believed to be at the top of Pearson’s transfer wish-list. http://footballleagueworld.com/2014/04/09/leicester-city-set-to-move-for-manchester-united-winger/?
Unabomber Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 If Pearson can get him playing then he would be fantastic for us.
Guest Bilo Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Very good potential signing, and very much a Pearson type player. He has plenty to prove as well, so will have the hunger. Manchester United as a whole have been disappointing this season and Cardiff are bobbins, so we'd represent a chance for him to really excel.
StanSP Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Wasn't Palace's best player in their promotion season and done jack all at Cardiff. May sound biased, but I'd prefer Knockaert and Mahrez over him.
CPW22 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I can see the positives of signing him but I'd imagine he will come with a big wage? I'd prefer us to sign a more 'out and out' winger, more like Lloyd as opposed to a Knocky/Mahrez.
queensguardfox Posted 9 April 2014 Author Posted 9 April 2014 Is there a player we haven't been linked with?. Emile Heskey?
kingfox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I've heard of this guy Wait Sports Direct news? Close thread
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Are people seriously saying that they wouldn't want him? Who exactly are you expecting us to sign in the summer?
emmpii8 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 can't be true. He's not been playing well at Cardiff and his attitude stinks. Don't see it happening
Fox92 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Wasn't Palace's best player in their promotion season and done jack all at Cardiff. May sound biased, but I'd prefer Knockaert and Mahrez over him. Agreed. Always rated Bolasi over Zaha.
Tuna Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 By all accounts his attitude is poor and he's been rubbish for Cardiff.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Tbf only one player has played well for Cardiff this season and that's their keeper Hard to judge an attacking player In a team that spends most of the time defending
MC Prussian Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Are people seriously saying that they wouldn't want him? Who exactly are you expecting us to sign in the summer? Someone hungry.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Think there could be a few disappointed fans next season, transfer wise Someone hungry.I'm hungry
bovril Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I can see the positives of signing him but I'd imagine he will come with a big wage? I'd prefer us to sign a more 'out and out' winger, more like Lloyd as opposed to a Knocky/Mahrez. Since we're playing in the big league next season I really do hope we get players who are more Mahrez than Dyer.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I suppose we should prepare to be linked with everyone
