katieakita Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Seemed to be a main man in getting Palace up but certain NP and his team wil be well aware of what he offers, also kevin phillips will have first hand experience of him from last season. Only a youngster so hardly getting a game at man u doesn't make him a bad player overnight.Has something to prove so would be happy and trust NP's judgement.
dayday Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 I remember Ian Holloway saying Zaha had everything, and he was one of the most talented footballers he has worked with. With Fergie leaving ,Man U have struggled and Zaha probably signed for them at the worst possible time, there is no doubt the boy is quality and I have no doubts Pearson would get the best out of him.

I can remember a lot of more established managers and journalists saying he was going to be the next big thing. Not only referring to his pace but how quick his feet were. Just because he can t get in the united side, does not make him a bad player.

To be fair with Holloway's track record he probably wasn't joking
Silverdaz Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 If he doesn't get regularly in a Cardiff side trying to fight relegation why would you want him n a Leicester side who will, first and foremost, be fighting relegation? He did very little in the Championship to deserve his huge price-tag - a few moment here and there a £15m man they do not make and he goes missing too often. I'd be very worried if we went in for Zaha. Very little in the Championship!!!!, he got Palace up almost single handily ill take him in a flash
Corky Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Very little in the Championship!!!!, he got Palace up almost single handily ill take him in a flash Glenn Murray's 30 goals didn't make an impact at all then?
Guest Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Glenn Murray's 30 goals didn't make an impact at all then? Nah they were mostly penalties. Either that or he's related to Nugent.
Head Honcho Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Always thought he was overrated personally Most Cardiff fans will agree with you. Better off for all if he fvcked off back to Palace. I think he's one of those players that doesn't like to be too far outside of his comfort zone and will be too much trouble.
Lambert09 Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Never have rated him. If anything I feel a bit of animosity towards due to how much he was over hyped. Saying that, he clearly has all the tools, I just dont think he know how to operate them
Rocky Dennis Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 I remember Ian Holloway saying Zaha had everything, and he was one of the most talented footballers he has worked with. Hollow Head also thought Matty Fryatt was a left midfielder!!!
Asherz Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Overrated never looked brill at palace .... Threw a strop at united coz he cudnt get in team.... Been shocking at cardiff ... Granted your only as good as the team around you and manager in charge. Even so mahrez and knockaert offer more
Silverdaz Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Glenn Murray's 30 goals didn't make an impact at all then? They did but like Nugent most of his were penalties as well but as we all know they dont count , plus I think Zaha was fouled for most of them
woznotwos Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Would be more impressed if we grabbed Snodgrass personally
LCFC31 Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Zaha is shit. Madly overrated. As mentioned previously, he was not that great in Palaces promotion season.
TJB-fox Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Not that great in Palace's promotion season- jesus christ without him Murray wouldve scored about 3

I can only assume there must be two Wilfred Zahas. Kind of like when there were two Eric Odhiambos on football manager a few years back....

ibbosuk Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 with regard to his attitude. ole did say he was one of the few people doing extra work (shooting practice) after training. for what it's worth. Must of felt he needed it then....
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Always thought Bolasie on the other wing didn't get enough credit when Zaha was getting all of the credit
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Zaha is a busted flush, don't want him anywhere near our club.
foxfanazer Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Can see him being a major flop. Mahrez is far better imo. Loads of pace but no end product (Cue somebody putting up a youtube clip of him scoring screamers )

Loads of pace but no end product (Cue somebody putting up a youtube clip of him scoring screamers ) Agreed. Can see him being a bottom half Premier League player at best. Who knows how he got an England cap.
