casablancas Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Kramaric start of second season Southampton offering 20million. Fantastic offer but he was my top scorer last season playing 36 bagging 21 with 8 assists. What you guys think? Sell or keep.
Dan Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 To be honest if I get an offer like that I'll often haggle and eventually cash in. Once I'm dealing with that kind of money the chances are I'll know of a better replacement for cheaper. Look in Argentina. They produce wizards all the time.
Ashley Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Kramaric has got 8 in 3 for me so far.. It is pre season though.. Chilwell only has a -4 potential? Somethinf wrong there surely.
Ricey Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 I don't seem to be able to use the quick sub option in a match. Sometimes sorting lists is a bit sluggish but it could just be my sausage fingers. But overall, the game is a triumph. I've been playing various football manager games since the 80's (can anyone remember "Soccer Supremo" which came on a cassette and bucked the trend by not having numbered values for players, but a separate booklet with written descriptions in). I've played some very very bad ones, and some which were good at the time but wouldn't stand up now, and some which I sunk hours and hours in to. To have an almost fully fledged Football Manager game of this quality in the palm of your hand is nothing short of astonishing. To drag items in game you have to initially drag sideways to activate drag mode. So in the case of the quick sub dialog, you can't just straight drag vertically to swap players, you have to go sideways and then down. It does explain that on the opening 'Touch Gestures' dialog, but I appreciated it's not ideal and it's something we are hoping to improve in the future.

casablancas Posted 22 April 2015 Posted 22 April 2015 I kept him and he's turned into cats piss haha. Only 2 in 7 so far .
Finnegan Posted 24 April 2015 Posted 24 April 2015 Read a thread on the official boards about signing Pogba. Went "why would you even bother?" So naturally sat looking at my Betis save earlier and went "I wonder..." So yeah. I just signed Paul Pogba for a structured eighty odd million giving him 200 grand a week and 12m sisigning bonuses to him and his agent. Administration beckons if I don't basically win the champions league every year for a decade.
Finnegan Posted 24 April 2015 Posted 24 April 2015 Ridiculously good obviously. He's pretty much the best player in the game besides Messi and Ronaldo. But there's always regens. I've got several with world class potential, there's never a need to pay that for a player but I was curious. Made two saves before doing it so I can always go back. Can't sell him really as I offered Juve 40% of next fee and him 40% so I'll retire him at Betis even if he bankrupts me
Stadt Posted 24 April 2015 Posted 24 April 2015 It's when he gets injured, moans at lack of first team football despite injury and causes a mutiny where half of your squad want you dead
MooseBreath Posted 24 April 2015 Posted 24 April 2015 Injuries in this game goodness me. Started with Leicester (w1 d1 l1) and always had 7 first team players injured minimum. Haven't even looked at training yet so can't be that. Fired up fmrte too see how many other players are injured and it's literally 30% of the players in the game. Ludicrous. Also signed Adriano on a free. Crap player, got injured, straight in the rezzies. Five hours of the transfer window to go, £2m to spend, no transfers pending.
Ashley Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Started a game not managing anyone just to see how Leicester went about transfers.. normally you see the same clubs buy the same players at the start of the game. Leicester signed JJS from Swansea for £2.5m
casablancas Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Played 14 games with leicester and currently I'm lying 6th. Thing is I've won 9 and lost 5, I haven't drew one of them haha. I find that strange however probably down to my gung ho attack.
casablancas Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Sign Gabriel barbosa and he breaks his leg in a friendly with fooking Coalville. Ain't that just about right?
jammie82uk Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Sign Gabriel barbosa and he breaks his leg in a friendly with fooking Coalville. Ain't that just about right? I've had that problem before, I've had a player who got injured on his first appearance since signing him after 4 mins of the game, was out for 11 months, worked him back in the reserves till fit played 11 mins first team and got another long term injury forcing him out for another 10 months
casablancas Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Anyone played in Spain? I'm having trouble with the b team and getting them to play. Means my squad players fitness is so poor. Any advice?
Dan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Anyone played in Spain? I'm having trouble with the b team and getting them to play. Means my squad players fitness is so poor. Any advice? Getting them to literally play any sort of game, or getting them to play well? I've had Las Palmas Atletico in the lower leagues for a while and I don't think I could tell you a single result of theirs. I've had absolutely nothing worth monitoring here in 7 years. On the subject... I ain't half sick of missing out on the CL group stages meaning poverty like Torino & Olympiakos can come in and make my players want to leave, even though we'd absolutely slaughter either of them. Had the perfect chance last year and bottled it on the last day, and have lost £50mil worth of talent with about £10mil to put it all back together. Joys.
BigLeicesterFan Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 I've just started a Northampton save. Usually try to get a team in the conference league up to the premier division, but this time I will start at league 2

Reserve teams in Spain are separate teams ie Castillo in Madrid. You can't just swap your players into the reserves should they lack form or need a fitness boost. Ended up taking the Southampton job after leading 19 'fit' celta players too 3rd. Got a decent German centre half cdm I think Bauer. Good little talent.
Grantham Fox Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 Has anyone got any tactics, instructions, roles that are successful. And what the players need to be effective and half decent in said roles. Coz I'm trying everything, and nothing seems to be work. Help I'm a noob. Cheers.
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 I play in Spain more than anywhere else and never bother with my b team. I would if I could micro manage but I appreciate that wouldn't be realistic. I tend to build a network of feeder clubs and send my youth players to the Championship or Ligue 1 / Portuguese Primera instead.
MooseBreath Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 2nd season with Leicester after finishing 11th after being rooted to the bottom at Christmas. Bought Christian Trasch, Micah Richards, Robert Huth, Lucas Silva and loaned in Rodrigo for the 2nd season. Schmeichel Trasch Huth Richards De Laet Silva Drinkwater Nugent Mahrez Kramaric Rodrigo Sitting nicely in 8th at the midway point. Nugent is top scorer with 10 goals from central midfield. Huth and Trasch have both been sent off three times and always in the same games as each other. Dirty mo fos. I reckon Europe awaits next season.
