They should be handed lots of pound notes to throw up in the air and roll around in. There never used to be a trophy, 2nd place in the prem "wins" qualification for the champions league, they don't get a trophy, 17th in the prem has "won" just as much as Burnley and so deserve a trophy? I get the argument that the winners get a trophy and the play off winners get a trophy, and second place don't, but I would rather see the play off winners not get one than invent a rather tame looking trophy for finishing second, second place is just first loser really, a medal is fine, but the trophy is just a bit pointless.
