lgfualol Posted 1 May 2014 Share Posted 1 May 2014 It has to be Dyche. Gaining promotion on a budget of £1.50 is a very big achievement.

When will they understand Burnley finished second, Dyche is universally disliked amongst non-Burnley fans and that he has had one of the easier jobs in the Championship as he has had a lower level of expectation. Honestly, it's just this forum that hates him. I can't believe that McClaren isn't there. I'd be amazed if it's not Dyche for manager of the season, sorry. ealingfox Posted 1 May 2014 Share Posted 1 May 2014 To be fair Holloway definitely should get it, to his credit. Unbeaten for the month, 3 away wins and they look like they are safe, when at the start of the month they were in deep shit.

But you can't beat the market leaders .

Number 6 Posted 1 May 2014 Share Posted 1 May 2014 Dyche has done great but there's a decent chance we'll top 100 points. Nige has to win manager of the year after that. If QPR had finished first and us second and they'd got as many points as we have I wouldn't be saying Nige should win just for spending fewer pound notes. BlackburnClaret Posted 1 May 2014 Share Posted 1 May 2014 Barnes was plan A, along side Vokes. We were so desperate for a striker in that game we would have taken Gary Taylor Fletcher.
