Fox92 Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 Came back last week and was at Blackburn but clearly been advised to take a break which of course is fair enough given health comes first. Have to see what Billy McKinlay can do - least the players will like the fact they can understand him.. With 2 home games coming up be nice to have a settled week or so! Yeah, can't fault him really. I assume he has been given that advice. Can remember Houllier having big problems when he was at Liverpool. Good luck to McKinlay, as above, he's a player that played for free here and I'll always like him - scored a cracker at Coventry that season, too.
Lamby Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 We're gonna get a hammering tonight I can tell.
Banks Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 We're gonna get a hammering tonight I can tell. Nah, you'll get your 17th draw of the season...
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 charltons manager looks like if homer was real
Jimothy Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Millwank sounds like something Lamby would get fired for!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Charlton are decent this season, seem organised and hard to beat
StanSP Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Great result for Charlton and for Blackpool, too. Rotherham picking up a good win as well. Forest now drawn 3 games in a row 0-0.
Lamby Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 That's our first away win of the season. Wasn't expecting that at all
Corky Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Is this Charlton's longest ever unbeaten run?
Lamby Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Is this Charlton's longest ever unbeaten run? I don't think so tbh. Won't ever beat Huddersfield's 2500 unbeaten games though.
ealingfox Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Is the real Stuart Pearce starting to please stand up?
Dan Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Seen a Forest fan on Twitter earlier saying barring one game they've looked shite in nearly every game. Has Assombalonga been getting them out of jail?
Soar Fox Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Seen a Forest fan on Twitter earlier saying barring one game they've looked shite in nearly every game. Has Assombalonga been getting them out of jail? Just what's needed in the championship though. Not playing well but still picking up points and not conceding. Really don't like seeing Forest & Watford so high up in the league though.
Corky Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 McClaren's had a year at Derby and done extremely well. The sheep got a lot of stick for ditching Clough but it was the right move.
Dan Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 Just what's needed in the championship though. Not playing well but still picking up points and not conceding. Really don't like seeing Forest & Watford so high up in the league though. But how long will it last? Putting two and two together - would it be fair to say Assombalonga has been carrying them a bit? Derby are a better side and to be honest I think they might win the league. McClaren's had a year at Derby and done extremely well. The sheep got a lot of stick for ditching Clough but it was the right move. He's turned them into a side that I think could go up and stay up. They're very decent. That's what made the 4-1 win last year all the better for me.
C-man Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 I would laugh my ass off if Derby got promoted and Forest didn't.

It's why I wanted them to stay down, they'd be doing better than QPR for sure. Better manager, more entertaining and closer-knit team.
tylesta Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 Pearce as already said he may have to dip in the loan market due to injuries...been learning billy's tricks stuart
tylesta Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 Can't see anyone getting 100 points this season. Norwich 1st watford 2nd. Think forest will draw to many games and finish in the play offs. Think derby may push the top 2 but be 3rd again.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 Good to see the tossers off the top, I'm firmly in the Derby for the league camp myself, Wally with the brolly might not be the best manager in the world but he can certainly do good jobs at average clubs as Borough and Twente prove.

Think derby may push the top 2 but be 3rd again. Teams get 100+ points like once every 4 or 5 years. It was never likely to happen this year (or last for that matter). Just 2 points separating the top 7 I think? Amazing start as usual
ealingfox Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 55 minutes for Dougie to save his job if the papers today are to be believed.
