Fox92 Posted 5 October 2014 Posted 5 October 2014 I see Dougie Freedman got the bullet today. Enabling him to sit at home and think "Fookit, if I hadn't walked out on Palace, I would be managing in the Prem now." Serves him right. Why does it serve him right? He might have moved to Bolton for different reasons. Who knows. We don't know.
Dan Posted 5 October 2014 Posted 5 October 2014 Can't imagine it was money motivated. Bolton are skint. They are absolutely in the shit as a club apparently. Bloody Forest. They score so many late goals at home I swear. Still that's four without a win - something we didn't do at all last season. In-fact, we only had two runs of more than a game without a win.
Legend_in_blue Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Russell Slade at Cardiff! I remember him being a joker when we were in League 1. Joke club and a joker in charge with an even bigger joker at the top. Good fit.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 I've liked Slade since he did Forest over when he was at Yeovil in the L1 PO's. Don't like Cardiff, though.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Mckinlay stepping down as Watford gaffer after eight days....
Banks Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Wow! Sannino, Garcia and now McKinley?! That's amazing.
Corky Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Lloyd had four managers in six years with us. Set to be four managers in six weeks at Watford.
Super_horns Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Mckinlay stepping down as Watford gaffer after eight days.... Just seen that. Goodness knows what is going on.. Going back to Fulham where he was coach for a long time (wouldn't say much about us really..) Players had enough of him already? Very strange and unsettling - last thing we need is more upheaval with new tactics/formations and uncertain futures. Yes we are joint top but performances since Sannino left have been patchy to say the least.
Super_horns Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Says Hasselbaink could be taking over. Wasn't he at Forest with Billy Davies. Not sure he'd be that good at organising and tactics TBH. Helping the strikers - yes.
Corky Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Weren't we meant to be really envious of Watford's set up? Where are those kids nowadays after DEEEENNNNNNEEEEYYYYY?
MC Prussian Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Ridiculous, really. Four managers in four weeks...? Surely a new league record.
Jaspa Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Whats the odds of Lloydy being player manager there? And I dont mean Doyley
johnny the fox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Says Hasselbaink could be taking over. no mate..its just been reported he has left before he arrived... come home agent Lloyd your fook up mission is now complete..well done son.
Super_horns Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Well with our history of having managers poached the next one could leave come the end of the season (if they lasted that long!)
Carter90 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Bet lloyd wishes he had stayed now, would of got some decent game time too I reackon.
Dan Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 The most amazing thing about Watford is despite all of this, they're joint top
Babylon Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Well... at least they still have Deeneys goal to think about whilst all this shit is going on.
Samilktray Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 They've now appointed a Serb who played for Chelsea for 2 years.
kingcarr21 Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Slavisa Jokanovic has won back to back league titles so is used to winning games. I know the championship (i assume) is a completely different league compared to the Serbian league but Watford may have just pulled off a masterstroke getting a young manager in who is used to winning trophies. Bit harsh on Mckinley but can understand why they have made the change. To be honest im getting a bit bored of the so called 'rivalry' between us so i wish them luck. would rather see Watford win the championship ahead of forest.
Dan Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 I've never seen anything like this. 4 managers in 37 days
Mark_w Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 When we hemorrhaged managers we got relegated to League One, Watford are going to win the bloody Championship doing it. Not cool.
AKCJ Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Calm down. Watford will sink back to where they belong. It's early days at the moment. Even bloody Brentford are only 4 points off them. I did have a chuckle when I saw that Deeney had scored 3 (yes, 3) goals this season. 10m well saved.
