One Legged Beaver Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 May as well just make this a Championship, League One and League Two thread
Soar Fox Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Bolton's stadium will be now known as The Macron Stadium.
DennisNedry Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Will be weird to see Fulham in the Championship, as the last time they were in the 2nd tier I was only 8 and only just getting into football. Similarly I've never seen Brentford in the 2nd tier, I wish them well.
Stadt Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 I want Brentford to do well because Mark Warburton seems a decent manager and a decent bloke.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 I think Norwich may struggle next year, i'm not saying they'll face double relegation but i can see them being in the bottom half.
Happy Fox Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Top 6 imo. 1) Ipswich 2) Wolves 3) Brighton 4) Reading 5) Forest 6) Leeds.
Brooksy Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Blackpool, Birmingham and promoted play-off club to go down. Fulham, Bournemouth and Wigan to go up.
Soar Fox Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 1st Reading 2nd Norwich Relegated Blackpool, Birmingham, league one playoff winner.
Unabomber Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Be interesting to see who Norwich appoint. I can only assume Mackay has dropped his legal shit with Tan so he can take over.
Hollism Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Fulham to go down. If QPR win the play offs *shudders*, then Derby should be comfortably in the top 2. Bournemouth to improve on 10th and have a couple of Brighton-esque seasons maybe?
lcfc1994 Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Go for it: 1. Forest 2. Wigan 3. Reading 4. Fulham 5. Middlesbrough 6. Derby
Dan Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Wigan and Wolves for the top two IMO. Wolves have one of the better squads in the league and finally have a decent manager and momentum. I think they're ready made to be up there.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Blackburn finished strongly, so could could mount a challenge. I think I say this every year but Middlesbrough should do better. I fancy Fulham to do well, and I expect Cardiff and Norwich to challenge as well. Wolves will have a decent chance of play offs as well. Bournemouth could be the 'the burnley' next year. It will open, not a lot between the clubs.
Super_horns Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Bolton and Middlesbrough just need to remember the season is 9 months - not 3/4. I fancy all the relegated clubs to be strong plus the 3 that haven't gone up in the play-offs. Going to be pretty competitive - hopefully none of our players/fans will be thinking we'll "walk" the league this time.
CKB Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Farewell Championship I will miss you but I hope we never return! As for predictions next year? Blackburn possible playoffs, Wigan will be up there, I expect Derby to be challenging if they don't go up, same goes for QPR, Wolves could have that winning mentality and do what we did that year, Bournemouth possible top 6, same with Ipswich.. I honestly don't think Forest will do well, don't rate Pearce at all Cardiff could struggle aswell depending on who signs, etc, Fulham are another club that have an air of uncertainty at the moment and that could harm them, same with Norwich but if these clubs sort their shit out they could challenge But overall as we know so many teams will have realistic ambitions to go up
Lamby Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 We need to push on and have a season like we did the first time we came back up
MC Prussian Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 We need to push on and have a season like we did the first time we came back upThat would require you to go down again first, though.
One Legged Beaver Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 That would require you to go down again first, though. That shouldn't be a problem!
Richard Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 I fancy decent seasons from Bournemouth and Ipswich. Brighton could try and follow our model from this season and look to build on what is a strong squad. If they could get over that failure in the playoffs then they could challenge next year. They've been top half for a few seasons and look ready to push on
Stadt Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Reading Norwich QPR Wigan Blackburn Wolves Bournemouth Brighton Ipswich Brentford
the_enlightened_one Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Wigan QPR or Derby ------ Wolves Reading Norwich Cardiff
lc4lcfc Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Wigan Qpr/derby Brighton Reading Wolves Bournemouth Relagated Charlton Brentford Play off winner (from league 1 obviously)
