Mark_w Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 He really is their only competent player right now isn't he? Why doesn't Uwe play him? I really don't get it.
Corky Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Most entertaining side in the world in 9th place now.
Dan Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 The fixture computer is truly a cruel mutha, making Ipswich travel to Wigan on a Monday evening. Ipswich fans aren't going to get home til the small hours. At least they''ll have some points to take back. *$ky Piss-take of a fixture to have on a Monday. I knew Wigan seemed almost TOO good a shout for the title this year. I've no doubt they'll improve but bloody hell.
Kitchandro Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29309597 Leeds United appoint Darko Milanic as head coach Leeds United have appointed Slovenian Darko Milanic as their new head coach on a two-year deal. Milanic, 46, quit Austrian side Sturm Graz on Sunday. Leeds owner Massimo Cellino said the former Slovenia international was a "very cool guy". "We've been waiting for him about 15 days," he said. "I don't know [why I've chosen him]. Coaches are like watermelons. You find out about them when you open them."Cellino added: "His particularly qualities? He's good looking, what can I tell you?" What a troll
Fox92 Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Think I've got Wigan down on my bet for promotion. Can't believe their start (again).
Fox92 Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 BREAKING:Cardiff City managerial target Russell Slade has tendered his resignation as boss of Leyton Orient. Story to follow.
Chug Laguna Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29309597 What a troll He's amazing. I'm in love.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Slade has a good, steady job at Leyton Orient and he's jacking it in for what's bound to be a short term gig at Cardiff. I don't get it, I could understand if it was a club that's more stable in the division above but they're in complete chaos.
ScouseFox Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 tbf he'd probably earn more taking the cardiff job, losing a few games and being sacked 2 months later than he would if he managed leyton orient until he was 300 years old

I don't get it, I could understand if it was a club that's more stable in the division above but they're in complete chaos. Not the case anymore. Just the other week he was almost on his way and had one game to save his job. Edit: Link http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29205751

I don't get it, I could understand if it was a club that's more stable in the division above but they're in complete chaos. He's done well in league 1 and could probably move back down if it goes tits up! This is a real chance for him to test himself in the championship with a squad that at worst should make the playoffs. He'll have confidence in himself and will see it as a real chance to progress his career and reputation, he does well he could end up in the prem. can't see him having a cat in hells chance of that with the O's!

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Christ, shows how much attention I've been paying to the Football League since we left the hole. Snobbery at it's finest.
Corky Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Not the case anymore. Just the other week he was almost on his way and had one game to save his job. Edit: Link http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29205751 They bizarrely turned down Cardiff's approach last week, meaning that his resignation will mean no compensation surely?
Dan Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Christ, shows how much attention I've been paying to the Football League since we left the hole. Snobbery at it's finest. I'm just as guilty. I seldom watch the League Show anymore. Being on MOTD really does emphasise how shit the FLS is.
StanSP Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 I usually still keep up with FLS to be honest. Except I don't stay up to watch it and not bothered if I miss it. Usually watch it when there's nothing else on TV.
One Legged Beaver Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Christ, shows how much attention I've been paying to the Football League since we left the hole. Snobbery at it's finest. In fairness I didn't even pay attention to anyone outside of the top four in the Championship for most of last season.
AKCJ Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 In fairness I didn't even pay attention to anyone outside of the top four in the Championship for most of last season. I have absolutely no clue who finished 7th. 1-6th is all I really knew
Kitchandro Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 I watch the Championship but once all the decent sized clubs have been on I go to bed. If it was on earlier I'd probably watch the whole thing.
Super_horns Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 Cardiff fans don't seem too pleased with Slade being appointed - expected a bigger name? Relations clearly broken and so he has walked away (not for the first time..)
AKCJ Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 Slade to Cardiff will be very similar to Nige to us. Will take a season or two shifting the deadwood but he will get it right.
Chug Laguna Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 Slade to Cardiff is one of the best managerial moves I've seen in a while
Dan Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 Meh. He's been generally hit and miss. Did well for Orient last season but started very badly this year (though how much of that you can put down to the stuff with their owner). No-one will succeed under Tan. The place is finally becoming the poison it deserves to be. I never liked Cardiff but this isn't on. I literally cannot take them seriously as a football club and I'm being genuine.
AKCJ Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 After Forest's fine start to the Championship season, one reporter asked Pearce: "So, how far do you think you are from a Premier League side?" "About 30 miles", Pearce replied...
