The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 To get more kip this is it http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/health-27286872 How much do you get on an average night? Typically I'm in bed by 9pm and if not asleep by 10 its because I'm reading or on here I'm usually up by 6am yet still feel tired and struggle to get up.
Matt Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I have pretty much the same routine as you, In bed for 9pm/try and go to sleep straight away but get sidetracked and asleep for 10pm I'm normally up between 5am/5.30am in work for 6am though (Occasionally earlier, occasionally later, generally though that is the routine) I normally feel worse and more tired in the mornings than I did before I went to sleep the night before though, feeling sluggish during the day, feeling most awake and alert at night.
Xen Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 12-2am asleep, 6-8am wake up. I don't get anywhere near enough sleep..
BigAL88 Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 i normally work from 6;30 am till anywhere between 4-7 pm get in an hour later, end up in bed about 10, then wake up a good 4 - 5 times mainly because of nightmares or sleep paralysis(which are linked to the mares) and doze back off 15 mins after waking, the the alarm goes of at 5am. and its no change at the weekend still cant sleep solid, got to say its starting to do me in abit and im only 25 this cant be normal surly?

That sounds terrible, I had sleep paralysis once and it was one of the worst things ever.
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Usually about 10 or 11 (not consistent with that) until around 8 or 9. I don't use alarms though and have a pretty steady body clock. I get plenty enough to be fair.
bovril Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I don't get enough. I usually go to bed about 1am and usually have to get up 7-8ish. I can make it up at weekends if I'm not working.
Strokes Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 What a load of shit, I'm not going to waste my life sleeping. 4-5 hours is plenty.
Guest Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I get around 5-7 hours most days. Depends what shifts I'm doing but I always try to sneak in more kip wherever possible if I didn't get enough in the actual 'night'.
Rincewind Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I never went bed until 4am last night. 6 hours sleep.

This may sound weird but I genuinely don't mind sleep paralysis I'm able to Lucid Dream from it =D
Unabomber Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I never went bed until 4am last night. 6 hours sleep. Blimey player, what were you up to?
ealingfox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 So how much sleep are you meant to get? I get between 7-9 hours a night most nights and I'm still tired when I wake up and in the afternoon.
Rincewind Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Blimey player, what were you up to? playing Urban Tribes on Facebook. never realised what time it was.

Dan Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Go bed at silly o'clock if I don't need to get up. If I do then I'll go about 1ish. My sleeping pattern is a joke.
NewburyFox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 This may sound weird but I genuinely don't mind sleep paralysis I'm able to Lucid Dream from it =D I had it for a couple of nights and it was absolutely horrible. Never known anything like it.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 6 hours is usually my realistic goal. even on like 9 I feel like shit so I dont even bother
Haydos Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 That sounds terrible, I had sleep paralysis once and it was one of the worst things ever.
