jimmeh Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 For me it's Tottenham v Arsenal. Always a great game full of excitement. Didnt know whether to include Liverpool v United in the poll but stuck to very local derbies. Might aswell stick it in actually!! Could be Leicester v Derby next season!
Grandad. Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Hatred - Us v United and Newcastle v Sunderland. Pride - Us v Everton and Newcastle v Sunderland. The others are boring.
Beliall Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Leicester v derby if they make it. Otherwise the london derbies are good. But for me its everton v liverpool...or Newcastle Sunderland.
foxfanazer Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Voted Newcastle v Sunderland Proper hatred and they're both crap
ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 liverpool/everton cos i live here. always a great day to go down the pub, red mates one side blue mates another and just sit in the middle not really bothered who wins whilst they sweat on it, then listen to the excuses/reasons they lost/drew/should've won by more etc. it's usually a good game too tbf, 3-3 and 4-0 this season, the 2-2 with suarez's last minute disallowed goal last year too. that was one of the funniest 10 minutes i've ever spent in a pub. reds went wild, one of my mates dived onto what he thought was a soft chair in the corner for a piley on only to realise it was rock solid, about 8 people jumped on top of him and it was one of them "who cares how much it hurts we've just won it in the last minute at goodison!" only for them to all hobble up screaming luis suarez's name to see it disallowed haha. blue's went nuts laughing their heads off all the way home.
kingcarr21 Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 i used to work with alot of Geordies and Mackems so have always been interested in the Tyne Wear Derby. They fvcking hate each other
AKCJ Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 United vs Liverpool is dogshit. All it is is "Hillsborough" followed by "Munich" sung for 90 minutes.
Bert Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 United, Liverpool isn't a derby in my eyes. Is Man City Everton classed as a derby? United Liverpool is more of a very fierce rivalry. Sunderland Newcastle is probably the derby where there's the most hate from opposition fans. Think the most action you get generally comes from the mersyside derby.
Grandad. Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 United vs Liverpool is dogshit. All it is is "Hillsborough" followed by "Munich" sung for 90 minutes. You have no idea mate. It is much more than that.
Happy Fox Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Derby 2006/07 for me. Shouldn't that be Dierby 2007-2008 worst team in history.
AKCJ Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 You have no idea mate. It is much more than that. It used to be. Now it's just snide, bitter chants that just ends in violence and tears. It was a better football match before. For me, the best football match is Liverpool vs Everton. That's a proper derby.

For me, the best football match is Liverpool vs Everton. That's a proper derby. It's better when its at Anfield, the United game that is. Louder, full of more passionate fans I would say. When its at Old Trafford it just becomes a Sky game.

StanSP Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Liverpool vs Everton all the way for me. Guaranteed hostile atmosphere which you can sense from watching on TV. Helps that I have mates who are die-hard Liverpool/Everton fans so they've given me a sense of it, too. After that I'd say Spurs/Arsenal. I also don't class Utd/Liverpool as a derby in the same sense of the other geographical ones either.
Dan Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 No idea how it can be Liverpool v Everton when a lot of Liverpool fans don't consider Everton their main rivals. The same applies for Liverpool/Man Utd and Man Utd/Man City. At least with the other two there's no debate.
bovril Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 In terms of entertainment I've probably enjoyed City vs United more than any others recently.
Fox92 Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Liverpool/Manchester United for me. The two biggest clubs in the division, it's just always a great game to watch. Followed by Arsenal/Tottenham. Usually a heated game. But I do enjoy Liverpool/Everton. There is usually a load of goals and usually a red card.
Grandad. Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Derby/Forest. They even have a trophy This isn't me having a pop at you but I honestly don't know if you're constantly on the wind up or you're really daft?
Stadt Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 This isn't me having a pop at you but I honestly don't know if you're constantly on the wind up or you're really daft?A bit of both
xHamzah Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 The rivalry between Arsenal vs Spurs is entertaining off the pitch but best derby game is either Newcastle vs Sunderland or United vs Liverpool/City Used to love watching Arsenal vs United during the Keane & Viera days though
