The Army out there all support Liverpool.  Anyone seen wearing a Foxes shirt will be shot on sight.  Calm down, this is Thailand.  Another election and it will all calm down.

Why do you think the Thai owners are trying to get their money out of the country? Paying off the debt wasn't anything to do with FFP.......

Just seen a few people ask the question and I don't know enough about this sort of thing to answer the question.

If.....if a civil war breaks out Thailand or something else happens, how does it affect LCFC?

Does anybody know much about these things?

The owners are successful and clever businessmen, I would expect if there is any danger at all that their wealth is threatened by civil unrest they would have already moved it to a more secure location.

I suppose this is true but what about worse case scenarios? What if they haven't been shrewd or aren't the greatest of business men. Being very close to Thai royalty, I'm sure the royals wouldn't want money to be taken out of the country, perhaps they keep the money there for that reason?

I'm sure they'll find a way to make money out of it

The King Power Thai Civil War.

Love it! Might buy us some good players!

Not that we haven't got good players!

Hole......digging! Bugger

Pretty sure it will affect absolutely nothing, unless it's the King Power duty free shops that are causing everybody to riot.

lol! Not quite the answer I'm after.

I would imagine that as our owners brought Matt E in to coach Army United, the owners are pretty much on the side of the current Leadership. Where this would leave us in the long term if there was a major change in Thailand is quite hard to work out as it's not clear if our owners are part of the establishment or have benefited from favour. If it's the later we may be screwed,

It wont matter that much only in parts of Bangkok, I was out there in January when the elections were on and everything was still carrying on as normal apart from the Saturday nights when most bars were shut

The only thing I think it MIGHT affect is decreased tourism/travel will dent their profits, seeing as the rely on shoppers in airports.

I'm pretty sure they're loaded enough to ride anything out with us attached though.

Pretty sure the civil wars started when the owners introduced Waysl to the royal family.

Marcin decided to take the country off their hands, now it's the Thai armed forces vs Wasyl. I know who my monies on

Fuss over nothing. Do you think when the Tottenham riots were going on the other year there were threads on Spurs message boards asking what implications this had for them??

Not sure i'd put Martial law and riots in the same catagory.
