Who will we most want to beat?

United. Not because I dislike the club but it just seems like a big thing if you beat them regardless of how badly they're doing.

Beyond that, you get the odd clash between clubs from time to time. I'm sure someone will annoy us at some point and we'll want get one over them for whatever reason.

This. Being the age I am, Man Utd will feel a bigger coup than beating Chelsea.

I'm with you 100% on this

lol what? Atletico Madrid aren't our rivals. A few of us may hold a grudge for the manner in which they beat us (me included) but to say they're our rivals is outrageous.

I think his tongue may not have been very far away from his cheek when he wrote that.......

None, really.

But if we stay up and manage to beat Stoke twice and send them further into relegation troubles, I'll have had my amount of retribution for the season.

Sending Stoke down would be absolutely wonderful.

Don't think they'll be anywhere near that though.

No particular dislike of any club, but if pressed:

Stoke -inbreds

Villa - make scousers look well dressed

Hull - I've been to hull (nothing more to say)

Liverpool- self pitying criminals

Spurs- Desperate fans

Swansea- Welsh, more than enough reason

Chelsea - horrible, horrible club

Man ure - represent everything I dislike about modern football

Arsenal - as above

Everton- self pitying criminals with chips on their shoulders

That's about all.....

Can't we manufacture a hated rival in the same way we have manufactured alliances with anderlecht, Cheltenham etc? We could get a cheap easyjet to a random town in Norway and ransack their pubs before attempting to set light to one of their quaint wooden churches before realising no one has any matches and resorting instead to stuffing empty walkers crisp packets in peoples hedges. Job done.

Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal, well basically all of top seven apart from Man City and Everton.

Why not man city and Everton???

We don't really have any rivals in the Premier League but there are a lot of glory supporting ManU, Liverpool and Arsenal supporters in Leicester. Beating any of those 3 will wipe the smug grins off so many faces
