MC Prussian Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 Anyone have any serious knowledge of the wily ruses of agents? I'm just wondering at the coincidence of rumours about Cardozo surfacing again at precisely the moment when it looks as if the Leonardo Ulloa situation might be coming to a head.... Could this rumour have been put there by someone acting on behalf of LCFC to bid down Brighton's potential selling price for Ulloa? Alternatively, could it have been spread by Ulloa's agent to pressurise Brighton to negotiate with us? Maybe the fact that it's surfaced in the Portuguese media makes it more likely that it's been generated over there - by Portuguese journalists looking to fill space or by Cardozo's agent, if he's agitating for a move or a new contract? It's more likely than not that we're in talks with several players (eg. foreign strikers) at once, in order to keep the possibility of no deal at all down to a minimum. Whether the news are spread on purpose on the day or whether it's just a coincidence - we'll never know.
dpjfox Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 none of our "rumoured targets" have yet to sign elsewhere eg ulloa campbell cardoza
From a French paper, same old story, just in French.
yorkie1999 Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 just in case.

One of their potential targets is Oscar Cardozo. The Paraguayan striker could therefore find himself in the Premier League next season. The Benfica player is also coveted by Rubin Kazan and Lokomotiv Moscow" (Use a professional, not Google Translate! )

MrSpaM Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 Would be a great signing. Cardozo and Vardy up front, yes please. Think this would be my number one target out of the strikers we are apparently looking at.

I'll cut to the chase...... According to A Bola, Leicester are in the mix for Cardozo, along with Lokomotiv Moscow and Rubin Kazan. Indeed, the striker's representatives were in England yesterday to hold talks with the Foxes. Anyone popped down Morrisons today and noticed anyone wearing sunglasses and with pockets stuffed with cash?
