Fox92 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 As with every season at any level, a winnable game. IE - not a team that have just got promoted carrying that momentum, and not a team that will just hammer us. Just a home game against the likes of West Brom or Aston Villa.
docho66 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Swansea at home - I think this would be a good place mark. Test us to see where we are. Or, a very intriguing game v Stoke (home or away) would be good - the last time we played them was when they sent us down to League 1.
foxfanazer Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Villa home. Nice welcome back to the prem, but a very winnable fixture.Yeah that'd be decent

Guest Basildon Fox Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Villa or West Brom Away followed by Man Utd at home.
Leeds_Fox95 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Derby at ho....oh wait Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LeicesterBran Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 I'd love for us to have either Southampton, West Ham or QPR at home on the first day of the season.
AKCJ Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Home to a beatable side who have been in the PL for ages. Someone like Villa or Stoke would be ideal. Get off to a good start with a confidence boosting win over a side that have plenty of Premier League experience.
Mac Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Easy one.. home to Man City. I want to hear the whole stadium singing (to the tune of Stevie Wonder)... Happy Birthday Yaya, Happy Birthday Yaya, Happy Biiiirth-day YA CVNT! repeat for 90 minutes
whetstonefox Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 I reckon it will be Arsenal away, based purely that was our last Premier league game, not that we ever got anything at Highbury, but as it stands we have never lost at the Emirates!
XLM Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Someone who's had a rubbish summer of transfers, has had managerial issues and hopefully players who've been involved in scandals/owners going bankrupt.
Matt Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Villa home or away. It's who I want and have a 'feeling' we will get. I think it'd be a good team for us to play aswell. It'd be a test whilst at the same time a team who we should be looking to beat.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Sunderland, West Brom, Hull or someone similar at home. Decent chance of 3 points on the board early doors.
docho66 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Apart from earlier this season, or do cup games not count? Sorry, I should have been more specific and said last time we played them in the league. Plus, it would be nice to see how far we have come since Jan. It's also a tasty little derby match to get us going.
Monsell1976 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Live on sky sunday afternoon ? would be great sat in the bar in menorca
Gary Eatfood Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Live on sky sunday afternoon ? Noooo! I want it to be a Saturday at 3pm at the KP. Don't really care who it's against as long as we're at home and it's Saturday 3pm. Not Chelsea away at 4pm on Sky, that would be the worst possible opening fixture for me, Saturday, 3pm at home.
wight88 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Swansea away where we can stick 4 or 5 on their ass before they even realise what we've done a la Bolton here in 2001
Bluefan19 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Qpr at home. Worst case scenario is Chelsea away, i dont need to explain why.
Dan Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 It's bound to be Chelsea away knowing our shite luck with fixture lists.
ozleicester Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Hull at home... big 4-0 win and straight to the top of the league
