You'd think with such an array of attacking options we wouldn't need to be playing players out of position. Both of them are out wide. Think Sterling will start off central and roam. With Italy playing 5 in the middle I can't help but think it'll be a bit of a scrap and we may struggle to get through to the forwards. And with Rooney's natural habit of dropping deep that'll add another player in to the mix. Italy will make sure the gaps between their defence and midfield is narrowed and minimised. Certainly gonna be difficult for Sterling and others to shine in that area.
