In terms of previous results though, like I said earlier in the week, this is England's best chance of beating Italy for a while, hopefully they can make the most of it. As for Welbeck, I really don't see why he get's so much stick, he has done alright for England in some recent games.

IMO Henderson plays a slightly tighter game so when their legs tire bring Adam on.. That's what I'd do anyway...

With Darmian playing we've got an opportunity if that's true??? he's a reasonable full back but he can only have a handful of caps Why on earth aren't they playing Abate?

Hodgson has never really wet my whistle when it comes to his playing style... but does, IMHO have the ability to get the tactics right so he'll probably grind out a 1-0 or 0-0 in this game. We just don't need to be losing this game at all... we'll feel Uruguays sting, I think...

I'd say people were more disappointed. Like any one of Barkley/Sterling/Oxlade and Lallana himself, they're good to have coming off the bench. As I said above at least one of them is starting.

It is a bit, I never expected it, he's been better than Wellbeck and Sterling had apparently ruined his chances of starting this game after his red card......
