James Wesolowski has ruptured the MCL and ACL ligaments in his knee. :(

Definitely feel for him, currently recovering from exactly the same. Did it start of august, still got another 8 months til back to football, horrid injury!

Sean St Ledge is having a trial with DC United apparently, I hear he's still holding out for Dubai Rovers though.

Robbie Savage made Stephen Dawson man of the match last night (Rochdale 1 Stoke 3).  Dawson refused to sign a new contract in 2005 having never played for our first team.

Some players / ex players can be complete asshats. Iwan Roberts, however, is one of the nicest blokes you could ever wish to meet.

And what a beard!!! Hes on BBC Wales news all the time! Love the bloke!

After his football career ended, I am sure Rodney went back to being a coal merchant in north west Leicestershire. He was a bit older than me, so I am sure he must be retired now.

In those days you didn't earn enough to retire without having to find a new job.

August 1969, Birmingham at home, 3-1 to us - those present will never forget his overhead bicycle kick. He's here, he's there ......

Iain Hume who is only still 31 has returned from a spell playing in India and signed for Tranmere Rovers today.

Have a lot of time for Hume; one of the few bright sparks in that side that went down to League 1.

Was gutted when he suffered his head injury and was delighted when he returned to the game. Top pro!

I saw him play in India and they absolutely loved him out there. Stadium went wild when he came on as a sub.

Does anyone know what happen to the ex city player Rodney Fern

I thought he had a skip hire business around Ashby de la Zouch, Coalville area.

Sorry Anstey, not sure. All I can remember is the bicycle kick at the Kop end. The Mercury have a photo I think in their archives of the exact moment.

I think we sold him to Barnsley after we got relegated?
