Vacamion Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 That's what can happen when you try to shitfest your way to an undeserved narrow victory. The better team are going through, as it stands.
Guest ttfn Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 There's a lot not to like about Chelsea but this business of the away goals counting after extra time is insane. It gives a material advantage to the away team in the second leg, and it's the home team who've earned preferential treatment through winning their group.
kingfox Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 World Class goalkeeping to horrendous goalkeeping in a matter of minutes. Two excellent headers though from PSG.

Would be interesting to see the stats behind it. It's beneficial playing the second leg at home generally, then you get to play extra time at home too. But yeah, doesn't make sense to me either.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I'd have to see it again but I didn't think that was particularly awful goalkeeping.
Unabomber Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I've been out for a meal and just got back, what's with the Chelsea fans? Why they so quiet?

Chelsea have earned the right to have the advantage of having extra time by winning their group though. It gets trickier when it's a random draw but when it's not random who is at home then it's a no-brainer - away goals shouldn't count after extra time.
RowlattsFox Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Bet Chelsea wish they went for the win in the second half now. Not good from a English point of view but best teams deserve to go through and PSG were that.
lgfualol Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I feel bad for any black PSG fans leaving the stadium tonight.
Dan Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 No English teams are going to be in the quarter finals. Again.
Guest MattP Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 All English representation out in last 16? Looks down to Everton.
Webbo Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Well that's our last chance of winning it this year gone. Really wanted Chelsea to win but PSG deserved it.
Guest ttfn Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Victory for football More like a victory for Qatar 2022 over Russia 2018
Corky Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Best team on the night went through, PSG were superb with ten men for 90 minutes.
StanSP Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Well that's our last chance of winning it this year gone. Really wanted Chelsea to win but PSG deserved it. Eh?
Kitchandro Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Not sure a non-English team winning a champions league really affects us negatively as Leicester fans, guys. PSG might be French but Chelsea are cvnts regardless of where they're from.
