SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I think we may be on the end of hiding today. As good as Hammond and King were last week, I'm concerned that may have been one out of the box and could find it too much today.
MC Prussian Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 We're going to win... ... against Arsenal after that.
CPW22 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I don't we have the pace to contain their runners. Monday night they had 6/7 players going forward everytime. I thought we looked good at set pieces last week so potential danger there, then again it's Cahill and Terry this week. I think we'll miss Vardy's raw pace but hopeful we can give a good account of ourselves.
Cat Burger Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 “We’ll treat all our opponents with respect this season but not fear them. And we’ll try and impose the way we play, whether against Chelsea or anyone else. We’re not a team that parks the bus. We’ll try to win the game. That’s Nigel’s philosophy" from interview with stve walsh in today's Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/22/steve-walsh-leicester-city-chelsea-jose-mourinho Great read
Haydos Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Hull played a 4-4-2 and looked constantly overrun. I'm hoping we play 4-5-1/4-2-3-1. It takes a lot of luck and discipline to just 'go for it' against teams like Chelsea. They will make chances regardless which we need to ride our luck with but with 4-4-2 we also need every player switched on and working hard for 90 mins.
Corky Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Pearson's not a small time manager which is good. He won't sit there moaning about transfer budgets, referees, being at a disadvantage etc, he'll go there believing we can win the game and if we don't he won't make excuses. I think this could make a difference come the end of the season.
JadeFalcon Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 going to be a tough match, but look at it this way.... we're already above Man Utd
Ghost Troop Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 The team has to believe its good enough to compete with Chelsea and any other Premiership team, no question of this being a bonus game. If it were the last match of the season and we needed 3 points to stay up it wouldn't be a bonus so why now. Have to approach every game in the same positive manner. If Chelsea hammer us today it has to be because they were brilliant not that weknew w would lose Whatever, we will learn a bit more about our teamtoday. Score draw.
BlueSSoldier Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I have 3 wagers today, just to make it EVEN MORE interesting, Leicester to Draw, Leicester to Win, Leicester to Win 2-1. If any of them come true I shall be so happy indeed! Come on Leicester!
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I have a feeling we will lose 7-0. Optimistic then?
weller54 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I have a feeling we will lose 7-0. God, don't be so doom and gloom, hey Hungry Hungry Fox?..... I'm not that pessimistic.... I'm going for 6-0!
CosbehFox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Anyone parked at Stanmore? Any issues? You'll be ****ed; Challenge Cup Final.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 God, don't be so doom and gloom, hey Hungry Hungry Fox?..... I'm not that pessimistic.... I'm going for 6-0! Steady on there
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I think we'll be beaten comfortably but if we do so having a go there'll be no complaints with me. We're already one up on the last time we went to the Bridge because we aren't fielding SSL who was absolutely ragged by Torres that day.
copunk Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 its nice to go into a game where everyone is expecting us to get a hammering, as anything else is gonna be a massive bonus, 2-1 chelsea
VLC86 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 You'll be ****ed; Challenge Cup Final. Egg chasing bell ends!
Leicester-Fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Got a feeling we may surprise Chelsea today, they expect to win and score a number of goals. I think we can get a draw
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Chelsea usually take the foot off the gas when they get in front
