Charl91 Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 We didn't come up just to "enjoy the experience." We are here to prove to the top 19 that we are capable of achieving great things during our time in this division. We can't just walk into this game expecting a defeat. Records are there to be broken and strange things happen every now and then. Whose to say we can't go to SB and punish Mourinho? It's a test of team spirit, agility and the willingness to not give up anytime for us. If we can go into the game with the right mentality and sheer positivity, then we can expect great things come 5pm tomorrow. I'm sure we'll give it our best shot, but I think most teams will walk into this game and expect a defeat. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
65RosesFox Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Look, we are going to lose on Saturday. Let's just make sure we lose in style, let's have a go at them, let's make them work for it, let's keep the scoreline respectful and make them nervous everytime we attack. If we do that, I'll be happy. can't see this being Pearson's team talk before the game if I'm honest.
Master Fox Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 If we win tomorrow, it will be one of the greatest results in football for many a year. We can do this.
daddylonglegs Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 can't see this being Pearson's team talk before the game if I'm honest. Yeah definitely not. He hasn't got that much time. The 1st 6 words maybe.
Happy Fox Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Lee Mason is our lucky charm he refereed 2 Chelsea Games last season and the outcome was a Chelsea Defeat in both games, 3rd time lucky on Saturday.
SlaneyLCFC Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Lost only one game under Mourinho at the bridge Conceded only 11 home goals last season More of a race between Seabiscuit and a donkey from Skeggy pleasure beach. Let's hope vardy can have a party and get the co....i mean goals flowing.
VLC86 Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Still after a ticket for this if anyone can help me out, I'm P1 with a season ticket and going to be abroad for most of the year so chances are I can sort you out with another match
Master Fox Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Cheats Bastards. We would have won the FA cup that year had we gone through.

MHC Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 can't see this being Pearson's team talk before the game if I'm honest. This is the Chelsea pre match thread not the guess the team talk thread. If it was, "for the fans" or "we can win today" would be a suitable option... on football manager
Zaid Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Lost only one game under Mourinho at the bridge Conceded only 11 home goals last season That was against sunderland
Nick Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Vardy and Albrighton available for tomorrow. Wouldn't surprise me to see Drinky and or James to make a late fitness test as well. We may be at a fuller strength than we anticipated?
Fatty Arbuckle Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 That was a good shot obviously and I'm not going to say it wasn't, but the majority of the time he weaves in and out of players, sets himself up for something brilliant, and then hits it directly into the keeper's hands with no power on it at all. Using a single goal to disprove a point doesn't really work. But your initial response suggested Mahrez wasn't capable of producing anything like a quality finish, I was just pointing out that he actually can. I agree his shots often aren't what they could or should be, but to say he can't do it is unfair. Marshall was hardly scoring worldies with every shot was he/
MrSpaM Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 http://www.theshedend.com/topic/26527-chelsea-vs-leicester-pl-230814-ko-1500-bst/ Chelsea fans being very complimentry, good to see
Socks Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 i would go with this Kasper Moore Wasyl Morgan Konch ^ King Hammond ^ Mahrez Schlupp Vardy Ulloa Don't think GTF and RDL will be able to keep up with it TBH....... subs: Knocky, GTF, Nugent, RDL, Hamer, Hopper, upson
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Does anyone have a link to a video when we beat them 2-0 at the Bridge in Sept 2000 - Izzet and Collymore...?

iamafox Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Chelsea will be a huge test for us. It will be interesting to see if our players are prepared enough for the game. I hope they are.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Clinging to the feint hope that Vardy will put the frighteners on them early doors; I can't see past 5 or 6 here (for them, obviously).
foxesfan98 Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Konchesky Hammond King Albrighton Nugent Mahrez Ulloa Subs - Hamer, Wasilewski, Schlupp, Knockaert, Taylor-Fletcher, Vardy, Wood
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 22 August 2014 Posted 22 August 2014 I'd defo let Vardy loose on them. I genuinely think he'll terrorise a lot of CBs this season - espeically aged campaigners like Terry, Ferdinand etc
